The price was great. People at check in desk were super nice. Room was clean Rug could be replaced. There is only WiFi in the main building.
No microwave in room but there is one (only one for MANY people) available in the lodge if you drive 2 minutes to get there. You are IN the Grand Canyon national forest so there’s no inexpensive place to buy food. The meals at the only restaurant are priced quite high. 25.00-35.00 a person for a small meal. We didn’t go into the general store, so I can’t comment on the prices there. I would suggest bringing food you can eat in your room without heating it. I would actually stay again for the price and the fact that I can walk down the street to catch the shuttle through the park. Beware…..to get to the lodge you must pay the park entrance fee of 35.00 unless you have an annual pass.
This is an extremely well kept facility and not at all run down as we prepared ourselves for being a “lodge” and not a hotel. Do be aware there’s no WiFi in the rooms but we’re at the Grand Canyon and didn’t spend much time in the rooms anyway. Wonderful place!!
Yavapai Lodge was nice and quiet! Not quite as close to the Grand Canyon as some of the other hotels, but everything was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are a touch dated but everything worked!

Liked: Cleanliness
Booked 2 rooms for a one night stay. Rooms were ok. Beds comfortable, good pillows. Tv good. The bath was dated. The dead bolt did not work in either room and there was not a chain lock. That was uncomfortable.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Stayed during freezing temperatures in November and room had no heat and we had small children. Management was aware and still gave us the room, said they put a space heater in there (which was about 6”x4” and very insufficient). They said maintenance was working on it, but it never got fixed. Also never got the refunded percentage they promised. Kids and us were freezing all night even sleeping in thermals/ sweats. Bathroom was outdated and needed repairs. Will never stay there again.
