Overbooked, and put in a hotel I wouldn’t book
Had to download flexicard, gave me a room number and a door key. Confirmation email also received. Travelled across London to hotel at 10.30pm at night to be informed the hotel was overbooked by 8 rooms, so had to travel back across the square to a hotel I hadn’t heard of, that was noisy, full of young male adults /late teens wandering around in pyjamas ( not great for a female travelling alone) to end up in a room with a stupidly noisy fan, a reception desk that wouldn’t answer the phone, no coffee facilities, an No WINDOW. Not great for someone with claustrophobia. And when asked how to make a complaint to be told it was a decision from higher up and nothing to do with them!

Difficult to review the service or staff as everything appears to be automated and through the app. We didn’t see anyone to be “served” by. However the roof top restaurant/bar is a little gem and we would go even if not booked to stay at the hotel. The room is neat, compact and perfect as a place to stop the night when seeing a show or shopping. Really funky too. It did seem impossible to get the door key on more than one phone though which meant my husband and I (arriving and leaving separately) did have a little challenge. But that could just be us not working the tech out properly. Great stay over all and would recommend.
