This hotel is very rundown. Although the bed was comfortable, it lacked amenities and it definitely needs upkeep and maintenance. We were never given soap or any other toiletries for our daily use. There are better places to stay in this town.

Nice Hotel & Great Location for NOLA

Check In was great! The Front Desk staff was terrific and we were able to have an early check in. The room was clean and good size for us. Only 2 negatives - one of the windows were cracked/broken and the bathroom hot water faucet & tub hot water was just a low flow. We didn't call it in mainly because we were busy with family all day and too tired to call in evening, but mentioned it at check out for repair.

I tried to check in at 2:30pm, but could not get my room until 10pm. I asked for a king bed got 2 queens. The room was nasty stains on the carpet and a clump of hair n the bathroom wall. Went across the street and got some bleach and disinfectant spray and did the best I could. Got stuck in elevator number 3 for almost 10 minutes. The call box did not work I was lucky a woman outside the door heard me ring the buzzer. They kept that elevator going even after people complained about it. No hot water for a day some people did not have it for 3 days. I was lucky and checked in Sunday Monday it was working again. Annoying and rude security. When people complain about the problems to the front desk the woman made a commit "why don't we just go to another hotel". WOW I would have if I did not already pay for it and it was none refundable.
