Great!
Hotel is really lovely with great staff- very friendly and accommodating. Bed was very comfy and it’s well located. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast as this was a bit of a waste of money as the quality was quite poor.

Comfortable stay
We stayed for 1 night , the room was slightly dated but was comfortable and had everything you need, the room was clean but there was some stains around the room and bathroom however you could tell the room was clean. The cooked breakfast was good and the cold breakfast was great with a really nice selection , i would definately stay again if i was in the area.

We stayed for a couple of nights over the Christmas period to visit family. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room gave us everything we needed and I even managed to fit in a swim in the small pool. The bathroom was a bit tatty round the edges from water damage. The bar would benefit from some background music to give it more atmosphere. We would likely stay again.

The properties main area were spot on lovely clean and modern. The room however was dated, toilet dirty, door hard to close, towels grey (preciously white). Not the best condition. Nice staff

Fantastic. check in quick with polite and friendly staff. Resterant excellent food was superb for evening meal. Christmas lunch not so good green veg hardly cooked could not even cut the broccoli spears and meat very tough very disappointing .

Check a wedding isn’t staying !
The hotel was lovely , the room was beautiful.. we required a quiet room due to young kids , but a large wedding attended and they were allowed to run around the hotel and ‘bang’ the piano all day until I called reception demanding a refund if the racket didn’t stop. I was told the wedding party have paid for full access , to which I replied I have also paid for full access .

Convenient but not relaxing
From the outside this place is beautiful, but inside it could do with a renovation as it’s all looking a bit old and tired. The pool is dated and needs ripping out completely. The bedroom was absolutely freezing, and the bathroom even colder. If you wanted the heating on, it was so noisy nobody could get any sleep. I expected more from the hotel listing than we received. Staff were amazing and couldn’t be more helpful. Food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast wasn’t a huge choice. All in all, I would stay here again for use of the studios but not for a relaxing break.

Our stay was lovely, the room was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly, the pool was an extra bonus.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were great, enjoyed the meal in the evening and the breakfast, checking in was great and straightforward, just the bathroom was the only negative, the base of the door looked chipped, the tap was annoying to use as it didn’t seem like it was fully secure, the sink also didn’t retain water when the plug was in, maybe this was just the room I stayed in but this wasn’t good, like I said staff very friendly and welcoming and restaurant staff also very helpful, just the bathroom let it down, grounds were also lovely

This is a wonderful place to stay if going to the Harry Potter Studio tour. There are areas which could do with a bit of interior design magic. We did enjoy our stay and we would book this again.

Amazing room , clean , warm comfortable , one tiny thing to maybe think about if you ever re decorate... the zany carpet in the room...... on the room stairs, it was a bit difficult to handle when coming down to the door..
