1960's Britain.
The hotel is undergoing renovation. As a single man I am not too fussy, as long as I get a good night sleep, a good shower and friendly service, which I did. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. If youre looking for a cheap night away and not expecting The Ritz, then it's spot on.

Perfect when working away
Clean, quiet, cheap and within 10 min walk of city centre for plenty of good places to eat. Free Wifi that wasnt too slow and a tv that ypu can use your netflix youtube etc on. Had everything I ask for when working away. Will be using fo the next month.

The pictures are clearly taken to improve what little there is. This is not a hotel. It's a hostel. Absolutely fine for putting workmen in for a night but not as a hotel.
