Very nice room and the grounds were beautiful with succulents, trees, bushes and flowers. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service exception. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great historic guesthouse, close to the main gate of Addo Elephant National Park. Beautiful and comfortable rooms and amazing restaurant. Staff is super friendly. We had a great stay!!!

A wonderful place to stay, eat, chill and go on Addo safaris . We booked a dome room, which was really nice and separated from the main building. The staff were amazing and the location was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend staying here for at least 2 nights.

Fabulous stay
lovely experience staying in the eco huts on a lovely working farm. The staff were very helpful (although contact prior to check in could be improved) and they were able to be flexible with breakfast times to suit a pre booked safari. The pool and communal areas were fantastic (BBQ and pizza oven). The surrounding area can be quite confronting with children begging and a lot of general rubbish floating around. The guesthouse is a hidden gem and I would recommend staying for a few days if doing an Addo safari (enter from the north entrance as the roads there are sealed).

Top plek, heerlijk rustig aanbevelenswaardig!!!
Super plek vlakbij Addo’s Elephant Park. Prachtig gebouw met een heerlijk restaurant. Het personeel is lief en attent en altijd vrolijk. Dank je wel Monique voor het geweldige verblijf. Wij hebben met de altijd vrolijke Aubrey een geweldige Gamedrive, wat wist Aubrey veel over de dieren.

Tolles Hideaway direkt am Addo Nat Park
Der Stellenhof lädt mit seiner einzigartigen Kombination aus Dutch-Kap Architektur und den modernen Earth Domes zur Entspannung in ruhiger Atmosphäre ein. Die Anfahrt zum Addo Park dauert ca. 20 Minuten und wir haben den Game Drive Service des Stellenhof genutzt, der in einem halb offenen Geländewagen durchgeführt wird, man kommt nah an die Tiere heran. Beim Dinner gibt es keine all zu große Auswahl, dafür ist es gut zubereitet. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Perfekt für einen Ausflug zum Addo Nationalpark
Nach der etwas holprigen Anfahrt wird man sehr willkommen geheißen. Der Aufenthalt dort war sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die vom Stellenhof organisierte Safari durch den Addo war auch sehr gut. Wir haben viel über die Region und die Kultur lernen können. Der Guide war gut drauf und hat viel erklärt. Wir kommen bestimmt irgendwann mal wieder.

Wunderschöne Oase
Wir haben zwei Nächte in einem Earth Dome für 3 Personen verbracht. Es hat uns supergut in den modernen Dome gefallen. Tolle Betten und eine coole Athmosphäre. Das Bad ist auch ultramodern, allerdings offen zum Zimmer (schon ums Eck), uns hat es nicht gestört und es gibt sogar eine zweite Aussendusche. Die Farm ist in einem wunderschönen historischen Gebäude, mit einem schönen Garten und es gibt einen grossen Pool. Die Strasse ist nicht schlimm - 3km Schotterpiste, allerdings geht es direkt an einem Township mit viel Müll auf der Strasse vorbei- das stört auf der Farm selbst nicht mehr, aber im ersten Moment ist man doch etwas erstaunt, wo man jetzt hinfährt. Wir haben mit Luke eine Game Drive im Addo Nationalpark gebucht und wären völlig begeistert. Wir haben alles an Tieren gesehen, was man erwarten kann, sogar drei Löwen direkt neben dem Auto. Mittags hat Luke für uns Würstel gegrillt und es gab einen leckeren Salat, sogar Kaffee war dabei. Wir können die Farm und die Tour mit Luke nur empfehlen. Addo selbst gibt nichts her und wenn man keine Lust auf fahren hat, wird auf der Farm der Holzofen angeworfen und man kann sich Pizza vor Ort backen.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft und haben uns total wohlgefühlt. Die Betreiber und das komplette Personal waren sehr freundlich und herzlich. Es ist etwas abgelegen, mit dem Auto jedoch sehr gut zu erreichen und ca. 15 Fahrminuten vom Addo Elephant National Park entfernt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!!!

Wir sind erst spät abends angekommen, doch Luke hat uns trotzdem sehr herzlich empfangen. Er führte uns in unsere Hütte. (Es gibt mehrere Hütten und auch Zimmer im Haupthaus) Diese war ausgestattet mit einem Doppelbett, Kleiderstange, Stühlen und einem Tisch. Ein offenes Bad inkl. Toilette und Dusche. Eine weitere Dusche war im Außenbereich der eigenen Hütte. In den Hütten gibt es kein Internet und keinen TV. Dies gibt es nur im Frühstücksraum. Der ist aber den ganzen Tag offen. Getränke zu super fairen Preisen gab es am Selbstbedienungskühlschrank. (Bezahlt wird am letzten Tag. Was verzehrt wurde, muss man in ein Büchlein eintragen. Das läuft auf Vertrauensbasis) Wir haben mit Luke an der Safari (6 Stunden) im Addo Park teilgenommen. Essen, Getränke und lustige Anekdoten inklusive. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Hatten 2 Übernachtungen bei der Südafrika-Rundreise und haben ca 65€ pro Zimmer pro Nacht inkl Frühstück bezahlt. Es war eine der besten Unterkünfte bei unserer Rundreise. Sehr schöne und weitläufige Farm, super Frühstück. Ich würde es jedem weiterempfehlen und, wenn ich wiederkomme, nochmal hier auf jeden Fall übernachten. Sehr gute Preis-Leistung.

Perfekte Safari mit Luke!
Toller Garten, saubere Anlage, sehr liebes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Safari von der Unterkunft aus mit Luke ist sehr empfehlenswert! Die Earth Bag Domes müssten öfter belüftet werden, das entstandene Problem mit der Feuchtigkeit riecht man etwas. Ameisen mögen das anscheinend auch. Die Outdoor-Dusche hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Klimaanlage funktioniert perfekt! Hoffentlich lässt die zuständige Behörde bald die Zufahrtsstraße richten. Diese ist mit einem kleinen Kia ein nettes kleines Abenteuer :D Perfektes Frühstück!

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful b & b and really enjoyed it. The location is very close to the Addo Elephant Park. The rooms have everything you need, plus there is a great pool and al lovely garden. The breakfast was amazing, lovely prepared, incredibly delicious and very extensive. The staff was very friendly, always helpful and had good recommendations. For our next stay we will definitely come back. Thank you very much.
