Clare Cottage was recently refurbished and renovated to the highest specifications.

The property has 3 separate setups depending on your choice.

1. One bedroom, Lounge, kitchen/ diner, balcony with a sitting area, Bali bed and outside bath.

2. Two bedrooms, kitchen/diner, balcony with sitting area, Bali bed and outside bath.

3. One bedroom, Lounge with a pull-out king-size bed for an extra 2 guests, kitchen/ diner, balcony with sitting area, Bali bed and outside bath.

This 1843 Heritage-listed Irish settler’s cottage, has fantastic views across the McLaren Vale to the cost.

Period kitchen with its dual fuel aga and table.

Enjoy the outside bath on the balcony.

Alternatively, relax on the Bali bed with amazing views across to the ocean, alongside 400-year-old Gum Trees.

Sit in the swivel chairs around the original fireplace, or relax on the leather lounge, it's the perfect place to kick back and relax after a long day at the beach, or wineries.

The property includes a Flat-Screen TV (with Netflix) and full wireless WIFI.

The turquoise waters of the many local beaches are a small hop from Victor Harbour, Goolwa, Port Elliot, Kangaroo Island or even the City.


We are super Pet friendly, a cleaning fee of $50 is charged for each stay.

Please note the cottage has a steep path and a few steps, and therefore is not wheelchair friendly.
