We have stayed at this cottage for 5 nights earlier this July, which was our base to tour Normandy beaches/museums and surroundings (Mt. St-Michel in particular). The place is great - very clean, well equipped (kitchen with stoves, fridge, two cabinets; vacuum cleaner, TV, Wi-Fi, etc.) and spacious, yet it's very affordable. It has access to a downstairs washing machine, grill and garden table with chairs, if you want to spend some time outside. Very nice garden and backyard overall. The property is located in extremely quiet rural area, adjacent to an old church (unfortunately, not opened so the bells won't wake you up in the morning - I have missed that experience :-), so you need to account for provisions elsewhere, as the nearest stores would be in Bayeux. Just do the shopping at E.Leclerc in Bayeux before going back home from your trips (but remember - all major supermarkets close at 20:00, except for one small Carrefour Express in center of Bayeux, opened longer into the night).
The hosts are wonderful people with great sense of hospitality. If there was a question about the area or a technical difficulty (using European equipment ;-) it was taken care of immediately. Our stay was simply a pleasure and should we ever go back to Normandy, we have a place to stay!
