Take it easy at this unique and peaceful getaway. This is a private one bedroom side apartment on our home. Cozy yet comfortable, off the beaten path but not far from anything in the Keweenaw, you'll enjoy your stay at this renovated former antique store apartment in the sleepy village of Ahmeek. 35 minutes to Copper Harbor, 30 minutes to Mount Bohemia, 10 minutes to Historic Calumet. Two block walk for ice cream at the streetcar station in season!
Back country skiing and biking trails behind the village, ask your host! Make it an evening routine to drive minutes to the Gratiot river preserve to catch the beautiful lake Superior sunsets.

This one bedroom was perfect for my husband and myself while traveling through on our way to visit family. It was super clean, had anything you could want or need. They have done an amazing job making this feel like a home away from home!!

My sister & I were so pleased with this cozy little place! It was so cute! Great care was taken on all kinds of little things: shampoo, body wash, etc. in the shower, a little basket of snacks in the kitchen, kleenex on the nightstand. They decorated with a few antiques and everything felt like it was done with thoughtfulness. The host was an excellent communicator and very, very nice. They had a book put together telling about great local attractions, restaurants, services, etc. It is a quiet neighborhood and we won't hesitate to rent this again when in the area!

Great location.
This was a very nice place with all of the amenities that I needed for my stay. It was very clean and well decorated. It had a well-equipped kitchen, internet and Roku. If you are visiting the Keweenaw in the summer for rock collecting, hiking, biking or anything else, this is a great place to stay.

Amazing Unit for 2
As soon as I saw this property I loved it. It is a beautiful, blue house nestled in Ahmeek, Mi. The communication was 100% outstanding. The owners are doing their part in regentrifying their community one house at a time. If you plan to visit Copper Harbor or any other small community in the Upper Peninsula I HIGHLY recommend staying here. There truly aren't enough words to tell you how much I loved staying here.
