Family stay.
Hotel was within walking distance to a great coffee place-Horne Pecans. And the nearby Mexican restaurant was tasty. The only thing was we got there about 20-25 min early for check in and they made us wait until exactly 300 to check in. Not whining, just staring a fact.

Beautiful building with potential, poorly managed
The property is very nice and historic, but it looks, pretty clearly, like since the hotel was originally refurbished, no money or resources have been invested to up keep it. The chair in my room was old, stained, and looked like it belongs in a college student’s room. The shower curtain was molded, the ice bin in my room was molded, the fan was dusty. Sure, it’s an historic property, but these are basic maintenance items and have nothing to do with historic preservation. All of the front-facing employees I met were all super friendly and happy to help. Management, by appearance, has no interest in upkeep.

Quick overnight stay.
Room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. There was a fair amount of Street noise but it died down at a reasonable hour. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly.

Very beautiful historical hotel. Rooms very spacious. Bathroom needs updating. Everything was clean and nicest you’re going to get for the area! Would always stay here moving forward.

Very vintage. Building rumbles and kind of sits on a slant. Kinda scary. Hair was still in the bathroom and bed but the ceiling fans and air conditioning worked great. It’s a nice place for that trip to the past kind of feeling.

Well kept old hotel. Very clean, although carpets are worn. Second floor restaurant was wonderful . Nice menu and food preparation was excellent. Was surprised by beautiful atmosphere and food.
