I booked this unit for a family vacation with my partner and senior parents. I have never felt warehoused like I did here. The building is under construction, and this apartment seems to be one of the few finished units. Shoddy workmanship that varied from annoying to broken, to dangerous was everywhere. The outside stairs to the unit were uneven and had metal protruding from broken concrete. The unit is a split level. The handrail for the stairs between levels was poorly secured, which made it very shaky and unreliable. There was no guardrail between the upper-level walk and the lower-level kitchen, meaning there was no fall protection between the levels; this was downright dangerous. The kitchen window pane was held in place with expanding foam, and had a permanent gap open to the outside. In the bathroom, there were only enough thin towels for each of us to have one towel each for all four nights. The shower ran out of hot water in the first shower, and water stood in the bottom of shower during use. The first night we slept terribly, only to realize in the morning that the mattress was upside down and we slept on the springs. When we turned the mattress over, a stain was revealed. Among many other details, the no shoes rule on the cold, painted concrete floors, and impractical, dirty couch made it hard to feel comfortable in the space. The experience left us feeling that a mid level hotel would've been a much better value than this unit that was marketed as premium.
