The Gingerbread-Pocono cozy w/hot tub near lakes!

Summary:
A magical & cozy cabin in the woods awaits! Remove the cares of the world. Soak in the inviting hot tub, tell stories round the campfire, play games around the table or spin discs on the record player! Central to all the amenities of Indian Mountain Lake you're also a short walk from Boulder lake it's great beach, kayaking, fishing, & swimming. A short drive gives you access to great hiking, skiing, shopping, restaurants, historic Jim Thorpe and the Pocono Raceway!

The Space:
The cabin is small and cozy so perfect for reconnecting. It's located in the gated community of Indian Mountain Lake with it's many lakes and activities available seasonally. There is a new hot tub in the cute shack out front and patio dining and firepit for guest use. The lofted entry/living room is filled with cozy seating and a propane fireplace and smart tv with AC in the summer. The kitchen is equipped with everything to cook great meals. The private bedroom is on the first floor and includes one queen bed next to the cabin's only bathroom. The bathroom is newly remodeled with rainfall shower. Upstairs is the cozy loft with 2 with 2 twin beds, a futon couch, and 2 comfy bean bags. The loft also boasts a tv and record player with a limited selection of lp's provided. In the summer, Stand Up Paddleboards are provided for guest use on the lakes.

Guest Access:
Guest registration is required in advance to access the cabin through the gated community. Parking for 3 cars is available onsite. The home is accessed by electronic keycode provided.

The Neighborhood:
Inside the gated Indian Mountain Lakes and only 1/4 mile to the amazing Boulder Lake and beach. Walking trails are also only 1/4 mile from the cabin

There's an attention to detail here which makes this property stand out from the rest: from the fully appointed kitchen with cooking vessels and utencils, to the bed linens, extra blankets and pillows. It's truly a spot that's Cozy, comfortable and full of charm! The upstairs sleeping loft also provides a wonderful additional group space for movie watching!

My best friend and I just loved the location and the cuteness of the Gingerbread. So close to many winter activities which made this location perfect for us. We snow tubed, went skiing and took a hike. Having the hot tub for us older folks was a huge bonus! It’s a great hot tub! We also used the BBQ grill twice. The upper loft is so super cozy warm and the large bean bags were just so comfortable to watch movies and play trivia on. We just created so many memories here at the Gingerbread and have already discussed coming back again next year. Thank you Devin. This was a perfect vacation.

Fantastic Winter Getaway
My wife and I had some time off before the holidays and booked a stay at the Gingerbread to get into the Christmas spirit before all the Christmas chaos. It was a wonderful mini-vacation. We spent three days at the cabin and used two of the days to make day trips to go to the Bethlehem Christmas Market and get some snow tubing in. It was pretty chilly during our stay (with the snow adding to the Christmas vibe) so having the warm cabin and the hot tub to go back to was extra special. Highly recommend the Gingerbread for a quiet getaway!

I enjoyed the gingerbread cabin so much and will rebook! It was a nice peaceful retreat for me, and I only wish I had booked for longer! I had an animal get into my trash the first night and Devin had somebody come out immediately and take care of it! Aside from that, no problems or complaints.

My girlfriend and I booked a stay for the Valentine’s weekend and it was lovely! Everything was as advertised. The host was very responsive and helpful to all of my questions. The hot tub was amazing and we were able to use the fire pit despite all the snow. The cabin is located in a gated community and it was quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommended!

Great Get Away
This was a wonderful quiet trip for my family of 4 plus our dog. Everything we needed was there. We did bring some groceries so we wouldn’t have to leave, and we did not! Water was walking distance to fish, and the roaming wild life was awesome for us city dwellers. Host was readily available for my inquiries prior to the trip! We will be back.

We enjoyed staying at this house so much. It is in a beautiful private development. We loved the waterfall hike which was close by. Jim Thorpe is 25 minutes away. Blue Ridge Winery is 25 minutes away. It really is in a beautiful area of PA. The house had such and warm and cozy feel. Very clean. Thank you so much for a great stay

Great stay for a quick getaway
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and we really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed to ensure our stay was comfortable. The hot tub was amazing!! It was raining while we were there, but we didn’t anticipate leaving the cabin. I looked up the surrounding restaurants beforehand and decided to bring all of our food and drinks with us (that worked out well for us). One minor suggestion would be to have curtains that are more opaque for added privacy. The property is located in a gated community and in a quiet location. The Wi-Fi is strong. Overall we had an amazing experience!

True getaway!
The cabin was so relaxing and neighborhood was very quiet. Very clean and well kept. Only issue is hot water runs out very quickly for shower. We only had two people using it. Also would just suggest back door being fixed huge gap bottom, put curtains on kitchen window and both door windows for more privacy. It was a perfect stay for a girls weekend with no children! Hot tub was lovely and very relaxing and clean! Not much to do in the area.

The gingerbread house is so cute, cozy and comfortable. Mr. Devin Mark's, the host, is so very nice and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. It is absolutely fantastic. It's a quiet, rustic setting with a huge enclosed hot tub and a smart tv you can enjoy along with a cozy gas fireplace that warms the whole house. There is a nice lake and walking trail very nearby. We saw squirrels and deer right outside the window. There are plenty of nice places to eat close by as well. It was a very relaxing getaway for us and we hope to visit again.

We were just looking for a cabin with fireplace and hot tub when we stumbled upon this property. We loved everything about it! The person working the gate didn't have our names so the owner had to call them in again (not his fault). All of these Pocono communities have too much security in my opinion, but it was resolved in 10 minutes and we had a great stay.

My partner and I ran away to this cottage during the work week to have a change of pace and celebrate Valentine’s. It was the perfect spot to work by the fireside during the day and enjoy the nearby hikes and the hot tub at night.
