Was a great place to stay for a few nights on our Europe road trip from UK. Alken was quiet with lots of history, and is around 45 minutes from the Nurburgring, so was perfect for us!

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Der Hitelhund Vodka is total goldig und lieb. Die Bedienung Abends war super freundlich znd witzig. Frühsuück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Abreis war bis 14 Uhr das war sehr entspannt. Gerne wieder

Frühstück war okay. Ich hätte mir etwas mehr Vielfalt bei den Wurstwaren gewünscht, wie z. B. Schinken. Für mich persönlich sind Brot und Brötchen sehr wichtig. Billige Aufbackwaren mindern ein gutes Frühstück. Dafür war das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren klein, aber sauber und gut ausgestattet. Im Großen und Ganzen hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel kann ich guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Leider ist es nachts vor dem Hotel sehr laut. Lachende und laut telefonierende, erzählende Gäste teilweise nach 1 Uhr nachts. Dies wird toleriert. Schlafen nicht möglich. Die Zimmer zur Straße sollte man deshalb meiden. Ansonsten saubere Zimmer, sehr nettes Personal.

Es ist schade, dass viele Zimmer im Umbau sind, aber doch vermietet werden. Sanitareinrichtungen, dusche, dreckig. Fernseher stark verstaubt. Bettwäsche mit Löchern. Frühstück sehr gut.

Das Hotel wird aktuell anscheinend rundum renoviert. Wir haben ungefragt ein upgrade auf ein größeres neu renoviertes Zimmer mit Panoramafenster zu Mosel. Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert, was leider durch einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch der anscheinend recht frischen Farbe sehr deutlich wurde. Wir habe die Nacht über das Fenster komplett geöffnet gelassen, so ging es. Die Zimmer sind sauber und modern eingerichtet. Entgegen der Beschreibung bei Expedia steht ei. Aufzug zur Verfügung. Das Peronal / Checkin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück hat leider auf ganzer Linie enttäuscht. Die ohnehin recht kleine Auswahl war der Nachrage nicht gwachsen. Brötchen waren um 9:20h nicht mehr zu finden, das selsbt zu schneidene Graubrot wurde am Ende auch nicht nachgelegt. An der einzigen Kaffeemaschine bildete sich eine lange Schlange, während die Tassen ausgingen und der Nachschub an Tassen geringer war, als Leute in der Schlange standen. An der Bar waren bereits am Abend zuvor viele Getränke vergriffen, nicht verfügbar, nicht kaltgestellt, oder es gab nicht die passenden Gläser. Insgesamt hatte man den Ei druck, das Personal ist unorganisiert und völlig mit der Gästezahl überfordert. Trotzdem wurde alles versucht und das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz allem Verständnis, waren wir mit dem Frühstück und dem unklarem Service an den Außentischen nicht zufrieden. Manchmal kam jemand zum Abräumen und bestellen, aber oft auch nicht.
