Located in the heart of downtown Alpine Texas this private ground level loft-style unit is the perfect place to scout out the city, explore the surrounding towns of Marfa and Fort Davis, and discover the beauty of Big Bend National Park. The building was constructed between 1908 and 1912 and features original tin ceilings, and funky plaster! Fridge/microwave/stove top/jacuzzi tub! Opens onto courtyard! Walk to shops/restaurants/bars in historic downtown and Murphy Street!
Hidden right in the middle of downtown, these lofts were formerly the secret hideaways of various owners, luminaries, celebrities, and occasional scalawags.
All the modern conveniences in this spacious loft featuring a king bed constructed from vintage lumber, and a whirlpool tub. The kitchen/living area carries the theme on in the custom cabinets and full sleeper sofa. Range top, sink, and refrigerator make for every convenience.

-There are also some great hiking trails behind the university that give you an amazing 360 view of the country (15-20 minutes up)

-Big Bend National Park/the Mexican border are about 45 minutes south.
-Amtrak Train is just a block away
All you'll need is your two front feet to explore the cute shops and restaurants in town.
The Amtrak Train rolls thru town once or twice a day. It can be a bit noisy, but ear plugs are provided with each stay for those light sleepers
