Studio 410 - Alley Unit


Studio 410 is a tiny hideaway mere blocks from downtown. You feel like batman as you drive down the alley and pull into your own secret covered parking! Enjoy your shaded outdoor area surrounded by a privacy fence or chill out in the studioā€™s living area. Thereā€™s a small kitchen with everything you need for light cooking as well as a charcoal grill. The cozy sleeping loft is up a ladder, it has windows, a window unit ac and a queen-sized bed.
Itā€™s cute but funky, yā€™all!

The Space:
This casita was originally an adobe single story structure that was remodeled, and an addition was built to house the former tenantā€™s mother-in-law. In 2020 the home was purchased by local businesswoman Jenny Hatch who had just started a record label and the little casita became a studio for Ross Fleming, her labelā€™s only artist. Ross wrote songs and practiced guitar in the little house without interruption or bothering anyone. Itā€™s completely private and very secure.

The Loft - the queen bed is up the ladder in the loft with only 5ā€3ā€ ceilings. It's super cozy for reading or sleeping but not great for walking around! Back down the ladder is 8ā€™ ceilings, plenty of room to stretch.

WARNING: The studio is only for those who can climb steep ladders and watch their heads under a low ceiling! Not for children under 12.

Guest Access:
The carport is yours exclusively, as well as the outdoor fenced area.

PETS - Pet friendly with a $40 pet fee per reservation

The tv has an Amazon Fire Stick so you can log into your favorite apps to watch shows (Netflix, Hulu, etc.)

Other Things to Note:
Thank you for not smoking inside, and for disposing of any exterior smoking debris as well as your petā€™s waste. Garbage may be deposited in the dumpster at the alley entrance and recycling may be taken to the Hal Flanders Recycling Center at 305 Cemetery Rd.

Great Stay

We loved the Studio in Alpine! Clean and convenient we walked to dinner downtown and it was a great base for adventure at Big Bend and Ft Davis. We could have used more towels and washcloths. I would have liked a reading lamp by the comfy chair and larger furniture outside on the adorable patio. The table and chairs were diminutive. But overall a good stay!

This is an adorable little get away in the gateway to the Big Bend area. Perfect for a romantic weekend. Close to shopping. The ladder/steps to get into the loft were not our favorite TBH. However, itā€™s not know to keep us from coming back. We plan to stay here again.

I had a good experience staying at Studio 410. The place was clean and had everything that I needed from toiletries, dishes, coffee, and portable heating units. It was comfortable, pet friendly, and felt secure. I also liked that my half-ton truck fit in the covered car port. For the low price, I was pleased with my overall experience.

Alpine was a wonderful town. It was a cold weekend but the heaters provided worked well. Watch your step and elbows down the ladder. Clearance is low upstairs for anyone over 5 ft.
