The hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. I think the rooms are spacious, but without a bathroom fan, years of moisture have taken their toll. Paint was almost oozing away from the corners where the walls meet the ceiling and bubbling in numerous places-Like something you’d see in a Stanley Kubrick horror film. That said, there was very little mildew. The tub possessed the largest bottle of shampoo/conditioner I have ever seen. Usually there are small containers or ones only the staff can refill, but this was a ginormous pump bottle and I didn’t feel comfortable using it as it could have easily be adulterated. Linens were freshly folded and comfortable. The single pane window without a screen in the bathroom felt very insecure and I was afraid someone could come right into the room. Water droplets abounded on the walls and ceiling after showering though, so I had to open it. The two staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful and the rooms were overall clean. The floor was swept and had luxury vinyl plank flooring. The kitchenette was nice, as was the cutlery and dishes, but I haven’t seen a hotel offer that before and honestly, I’d have preferred a better bathroom experience over that. The hotel could be converted to economy apartments potentially. The beds were fairly firm with no headboards, so I used a wipe on the walls. My sleep was quiet and uninterrupted.

Bathroom in very poor condition, cracked sink, flaky painted bath, broken towel rail. A lot of shouting on the first night. No transport close to the motel and 45 min walk to downtown Anchorage. Should have read the reviews. Would not stay here again and it wax expensive. On the positive side the bedding and towels were very clean.

The staff did not know how to do some basic transactions, had difficult time checking us in. This hotel has no walkable dining, bought frozen cheeseburger & microwaved it, got hard. TV didn't work in room, window blinds looked like a murder scene brownish red stain all over them. Fixtures were loose, the barbed wire around property was unsettling. Peeling paint, furniture lacked handles just really run down.

I believe it is a low income residential rental inn! Homeless ? People swearing and yelling with doors slamming - manager yelling to quiet down people. Room was with holes in walls, screens torn out of window- chipped bathtub- unusable. Lobby like someone’s living room with we are not responsible for… all over. Steep stairs- no handicap accessible rooms. Very scary- we were stuck!!! 11 pm after train arrived. I would never recommend the hotel to anyone- unsafe. Threatening- intimating- dirty- run down building- it should be removed as an option on Expedia!!! We need trustworthy information in advance

Was pleasantly surprised when saw the interior because pulling up into the parking lot was a bit scary. Exterior not well kept. Furnishings were rough but the place was clean. No AC and keeping windows open was a challenge for lack of screens. Front desk staff was awesome.

Crystal was really nice and helpful. All 3 staff were. We had to ask for a 2nd washcloth and extra blanket. Really appreciated the kitchenette upgrade! A low cost option to spend time near Anchorage. Easy to Uber around.

Clean and run down except for blind very dirty I think a wash is due . Bedding clean everything kinda mounted on walls , nothing able to stay where I put it in bathroom shelf tilts . Water in shower warm tub paint peeling . Room very warm had a fan to plug in so we could be cool . Not very presentable, I don’t smoke but no smoking signs everywhere , but it smelled like smoke by office and hall . I am not their now of I would give pictures

There was a drunk man that rented a room there for 5 days. Was extremely intoxicated and was trying to kick in guests doors. Took police 2 hours to get there. Also Roaches, a lot of baby ones.
