Wonderful employees-facility in need of repairs
This hotel needs a full remodel. There were several employees that were so kind. Carlos was an evening gold cart tour guide to us for birds/plant identification and he was wonderful. He also was very kind to offer us other tips of activities in the area. The room key did not work and in fact we found one of our rooms did not always even lock. We requested maintenance but we left before they showed. The doors to the balconies are difficult to open and outside metal is covered in rust. Hallway walls and carpeting need upkeep. I would not return even though we did run into several wonderful employees.

In the Rainforest
The setting is phenomenal, but the jungle conditions have clearly taken a toll on the overall condition of the property. The rooms need dehumidifiers, as the windows were foggy and it got so humid in the room that it was literally raining in the room. Weird! Absolutely great pools and user friendly hours. As weird as it was, I’d definitely stay here again.

The property was surrounded by the rainforest. It was quiet and safe. I enjoyed driving around in a golf cart everyday @ 5pm to the see the wildlife such as turtles, birds and crocodile

We left a day early it was that bad. No hot water in the room. No washclothes or hand towels in the room. The kids pool looked like it had a strange bubbly film covering it. The food was the only thing that was pretty decent. You can tell this hotel is not the hotel it once was when it was run by Radisson 10 years ago (based on the pictures). It looks run down now.

I really loved the fact that this resort was situated in a rainforest and away from the city. Beautiful golf courses and nature everywhere. The staff is really very very friendly and will give you everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The place is very safe and you have tours within the resort. It is a slighly older propert around 50 years olds but facilities are great. Kudos to the management and staff for a great experience. Highly recommend this place. Do play golf while you are here can't get any better.

Beautiful hotel. Our room was comfortable and very spacious. The bathroom/shower was very big and beautiful also. There was a wedding on the night of our stay which was busy, and a little loud, but our room was quiet. The view from our balcony over the Rainforest was stunning. Room service was reasonably priced and fast. The breakfast buffet was very very good. All in all, I would definitely recommend and would come back again for golf next time, because the course looks immaculate as well.

Beautiful property and rooms, in the middle of rainforest and close to other attractions like Gamboa, Miraflores locks and also only 30 mins from the city! The pools were refreshing and the included breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety! Reuben at the bar was very helpful in accomodating specific requests due to our diet restrictions.

This property is out of Panama City a ways but I wanted to be closer to the birding areas in the area. The hotel was likely a jewel in its day but the years are showing. The AC seems to be uncontrolled as other reviewers have noted. In my room, although I could set the temperature it just got colder & colder without regard to the thermostat setting so I had to turn it on and off manually. I got upgraded to a balcony room & there was rust all over the railings, worse one almost needed to be Hercules to open & close the "sliding" door. The 3 pools looked fine but I didn't use them. Breakfast was full buffet style with lots of choices and the restaurant had good offerings as well. Being a golf facility too I had hoped to find a lot of birds around, but alas, that was definitely not the case. There were some but nothing like what I had expected being surrounded by rainforest.
