The staff was very friendly and nice, the property is under renovation but clean, the breakfast could be better, not bad but everyday is the same options. The buffet of the restaurant I don’t like at all, the pasta Alfredo taste like milk with no cheese…. Dinners option are minimal taking into consideration that mostly of store close at 7pm around there. Overall hotel itself is good

This hotel is an old classic property in the international district in Bogota, it is close to museums, the old city quarters, and overlooking the Monserrate mountain. If you don't have to go to the real north of Bogota it is a great location

Booked stay for to experience the classic historic hotel of Colombia. Pros - The staff in general were friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was fair. Cons - the taxis outside prices are too high. The front desk manager is rude and takes advantage of tourists. Before booking I researched to see the hotel itself said it on numerous question pages that it is ok to have guests to your room during the day. Only a charge applies for overnight. Well the lady at the front desk charges me $27.97 USD or 106,000 COL Peso to allow my friend to see my beautiful room. All I requested was less than an hour just to show the beautiful view but she charges me this price. On top of that it was only for up to 3 hours. She claimed it was a new policy. I feel this is a "gringo tax". I will never use any other GHL properties in the future. This staff member needs training on guest experience.

The staff is excellent always smiling the breakfast is the best the dinner wow,want to give big shout outs to my new friends Sabaatien at the front desk and Brandon Lee Bruce lee son lol,and shout out to Lisa holding down the cafe spot shes remarkable, overall was good,my set back is sometimes late you will hear a lot of talking in the hallway,but other than that i like it,thanks for a wonderful stay

Its an old high end hotel but very well kept. The rooms are very nice, though there was no air-conditioning, its always cool. Its in the downtown area of Bogota. Its located in a business district.

Not an international hotel. No smart TV so all channels except CNN were in Spanish. Food poisoning from room service pizza. Wrong information given twice in english at the reception. Old and tired hotel. However well located for many amenities so no need to use a taxi can walk if you feel safe.

About 50 years ago it may of been a five star hotel but now not so much. My wife and I had to switch rooms three times during our stay. They did upgrade rooms each time so that was nice. However, water temperature was difficult to control no matter what shower we used. Water leaks through the lobby when it rains, and not just a little bit. Staff is friendly and accommodating.The area around is not safe after dark.

A beautiful classic in downtown Bogotá.
Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Well located. Older decore, but well maintained. My only negative was loud renovation taking place on the first floor.

The property has a lot of history so that was a plus, when I booked the reservation it includes all tax. When I checked in I had to pay hotel taxes again. You need to correct this on you web page or contact the property manager so they know we already paid taxes. There was some construction going on the the morning hours 9-12 which was annoying. Besides that the staff was excellent and the property was brilliant.
