The property itself is nice and just what we needed for the price point. We had a bit of a situation as we were coming from far away we didn’t make it to the first night of our booking. I called in advance to ensure they were aware of our absence and the kind worker I spoke to suggested we ask to talk to a manager about a refund. When we arrived the next day around 12, we were at the front desk about to check in and the employee there was quick to cut us off that they were full before we explained we already had a booking, a bit rude. After that our check in went okay and I asked about talking to a manager as we missed our first night, the girl didn’t know much and said the manager wasn’t there so we decided to come back later. Later that night I spoke to a very kind employee named Mia who I spoke to on the phone the night prior. She told me to speak with expedia and get the refund approved by the hotel and go from there. I did so and I was told my refund was rejected by the hotel. I then went back to speak with Mia again and she told me that her manager rejected our refund. Mia was the only helpful person in this situation. I appreciate hotels have policies and missing the first night of our booking due to last minute personal reasons is technically our own fault but I thought there would be some better customer service provided given we physically never made it to that night of the booking. Otherwise the hotel was still great in every other aspect

Kids with no parental supervision!!
My only problem was I needed to change my key card 3 or 4 times because it didn't work. The girls at the desk gave me a new one easily, but it was a little annoying having to go to the desk when I wanted to go in my room. A large group with children checked in. The kids ran up and down the halls yelling and slamming doors. They were allowed at the pool making a lot of noise after midnight. The place was very clean and the people at the desk were very friendly.

This property I have known for years. It is now showing wear. My clock did not work and no replacement available at desk. The calking in the bathtub was dirty. Last time I stayed I was offered water. Not this time. The tissue container was empty in my room. Just very disappointing.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Located on the outskirts of all the university hustle and bustle, but still convenient to get to downtown. Be advised it takes at least 15 minutes (at least in my experience) to get an uber from this part of town.
