Great apartment
The apartment was spacious but cozy at the same time. It was well located for exploring the area on foot and also driving. We appreciated the breakfast items that were thoughtfully provided. You can hear the family a little but you are staying in an apartment so that is to be expected. They were respectful of our privacy and quiet hours, we never heard a thing early in the morning or late in the evening. The host was flexible with our check in time which was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Marais d’Annapolis

Perfect Location; Beautiful Place
My husband and I traveled to NS from the US for a relaxing vacation--and Jessica's place was a great landing spot for part of our trip. The place is pristine and nicely decorated. The bedroom, bathroom, and living room are well-appointed and of generous size. The kitchen is on the small side but more than sufficient for a visit--all the supplies you need to cook if you prefer--and there is ample eating space at the table in the dining room. Jessica had some beverages, local fruit, and delicious local baked goods ready on our arrival. She is readily available and we got to meet her shortly after we arrived. The location is perfect as it is just outside the "commercial" zone of the small town (so nice and quiet with trees) yet it was a quick walk to everything we wanted to do, including walking to the walking/biking crushed gravel trail that goes on forever and the short boardwalk along the harbor. Annapolis Royal has everything on offer: delicious food options, brewery, winery, Saturday farmers market, history at Fort Ann and on a self-guided walking tour, little shops of all sorts, and the friendliest people!!! And after a day of all that--come back to Jessica's place and RELAX and watch the nice television, read a book (she has many there if you finish yours), or play a game (some there as well). If we come back to that coast of NS, we would absolutely hope to secure Jessica's place.

Excellent Value Private Apartment
We're an older couple from NYC, and we appreciated the luxury of our own private apartment located off St. George Street (the main street in Annapolis Royal). Our host, Jessica, and her daughter, Faith, were responsive to our questions, and even helped with our carry on bags. We recommend staying with them.

Getaway to Annapolis Royal
The apartment is located right next to the historic heart of Annapolis Royal, within walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet in the evening. There were a few treats and breakfast items waiting for us upon arrival, which was much appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped and the wifi works well. The owners live next door, which is convenient if you have a service to request.

Lots of pluses but privacy an issue
This suite, a separate part of the upstairs in a house, was clean and spacious. Jessica had laid out yogurt, pastries, coffee, tea, juice and milk to get day one started. Very welcoming. I do have a suggestion regarding privacy - there is a basic (locked) inside door from this suite separating the owner from us, and all sounds and conversations were totally audible to them (and from them by me, although I just heard them once, clearly). Recommend they replace that door with an external steel type door with the bottom sweep and weatherstripping around the edges to muffle sounds for visitor privacy. The other thing I would have liked is in the bathroom, there is very little room around the sink to put a cosmetic case or curling iron, suggest a little table beside the sink for those little things we ladies want quick access to without bending down to the shelf near the floor.

Excellent location for a walk-about near evrything in Annapolis Royal. Lovely decor, well-equiped kitchen - easy to cook; comfortable bed - quiet area to sleep. Host - Jessica is friendly and responded immediately to any of our questions. Loved the market on Saturday and the gardens were spectacular and again, within walking distance. Excellent Experience!
It was perfect for our needs. The place was very clean and comfortable and Jessica even provided some wonderful treats for snacks and breakfast. The booklet with all the key information was a bonus. I was also very appreciative that she was able to let me in a little earlier. Hopefully we will be back again soon. THANK YOU for everything Jessica!

This was a great find. The apartment was spacious and clean with everything you needed for your stay. The location was perfect to walk to all of the amazing sites in this small village. The historic garden, Fort Ann and downtown Annapolis Royal was great. The host was wonderful and very helpful. We visited the Saturday Farmers market and she even had a large display of her unique soaps that we had to buy. We would go back there in a heartbeat

Nice Place
The place was roomier than we expected and quite comfortable. It was quite hot and humid while we were there so A/C would have made our stay even better. Jessica responded very quickly to our questions and left a few items in the fridge for breakfast which was a nice touch.

Enjoyable Stay at the Historic Grange House Apartment
Before mentioning anything about the apartment I have to applaud Jessica for her organization and communication skills. She had a pdf booklet for us, both digital and hard copy for the apartment. This booklet took care of every question I needed to ask. Best job I've ever seen at informing a guest. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated with a clean modern look. One of the most delightful examples of hospitality was that Jessica had coffee and breakfast items for our first morning. Everything about the apartment was just what we needed, nothing more, nothing less. We really enjoyed Annapolis Royal and found it convenient to both the Digby neck and all the way up to Wolfeville. A few favorites were the Bear River Winery and watching the sunset from the Annapolis Royal boardwalk. And, don't miss the Bonnett Art Galley with Sally O'Grady's beautiful work. Thank you, Jessica!

Great home base in Annapolis Royal
We loved our stay at Grange House — so handy to walk to town or for a nature walk around French Basin. Jessica was very thoughtful, leaving us breakfast fixings for the first morning — much appreciated! We would love to make Grange House our home base if we come to Annapolis Royal again. Highly recommended!

Awesome stay at the Grange!
My partner and I had a perfect stay at this location and Jessica is a welcoming and professional host. The apt is cozy and fully equipped with comfortable furniture and complete kitchen. Jessica is friendly and was available for any request we had. The location is a short walk to the centre of town and is quiet and scenic. You are across the road from the Heritage Gardens and next to the Community Hub. I would highly recommend this property and Jessica as a host. We will book her again.

Outstanding Apartment
Just the right size for my husband and I. One bedroom, large bathroom, open kitchen and living room area. Freshly renovated and comfortable. If I could have packed it in my suitcase I would have taken it with us as a place to stay throughout our travels. There is a climb up a slope and stairs but we managed it just fine even with using our canes for walking.
