This place is close to the beach but that’s about it, as far as the area is concerned. The 7th floor had a horrible smell. The pool was ice cold, the food at the pool was horrible. The place was built cheaply, the door to my mini fridge was falling off, the lamps wobbled, and there is no ventilation in the bathroom. It isn’t walkable but Lime bikes across the street helped.

The Radisson is decent, nothing crazy amazing. Our room was dinged up and not the cleanest when we arrived. We ordered room service and had plastic in our pizza from the ham they unwrapped, but we did enjoy the rooftop pool and restaurant. Overall average or a little below average experience.

The hotel overall is really nice. Great and (for European standards) spacious rooms, especially the ones with ocean view. Great terrace doors that block the noice from the busy street. Breakfast was pretty good, although a bit too expensive and the buffet gets really crowded and is relatively small for such a big hotel (during the peak summer season). What I really disliked is that expedia mentions correctly that breakfast and parking costs extra, but fails to mention that the Beach Club also costs extra !!! The chairs at the beach, only stones no sand, costs EUR 26.- each per day EXTRA (unless you are in one of the super expensive big suites) !!! EXPEDIA needs to include this point in their property description. Finally, the pool and terrace/restaurant on the top (8th) floor is great, BUT during weekends there might be parties being celebrated there and you can hear the extremely loud music all the way down to your room in the 3rd floor (just imagine if you are on the 7th floor - forget about a good nights sleep !!).

The staff was rude and not very welcoming. You felt like you were bothering them every time you would approach them. The only welcoming person was Pascal at reception. The breakfast buffet was not big enough to accommodate the number of people and no one would help with seating. You had to spend time walking around to try to find a table.

The hotel did not have the Suite we booked over 6 months out, I guess they decided to give it to someone else, which is nice of them. They tried to give us two rooms instead, facing the hotel across the street (they said it was mountain view, I would call it city view at best) which was not acceptable for us and our child, we just wanted the room we booked. Next they put us in two rooms on Ocean Side, but we still told them we wanted the actual suite that was more appropriately appointed for a family, they never fixed this during our 6 day stay. There was no soap in either of the bathrooms in the two rooms, it took them three days to fix this, and we had to go back to the same housekeeping person in the hallway multiple times on the day it did get fixed before they actually replaced the soaps, which doesn’t even make sense. Beyond that, the pool is only open until 7 pm so the hotel can make money at the restaurant they built beside it, which is not fair to the paying hotel guests. The pool itself is a chaotic disaster… forget needing to get up early if you want to get a chair, you’ll need to do that for sure, but you’ll need to do the same if you want to even get a towel since most of the day will be nothing but a pile of dirty wet towels beside the pool. The toilet in one of the rooms was broken and they didn’t bother fixing that. The parking is so tight you WILL scratch your rental car, make sure buy insurance. 3 stars

Nice hotel, great views of the town. However disappointing waiting for breakfast as not enough tables. Also the pool has very limited space at this time of summer. It should be noted that the beach club/ sun beds are not included within room rate, this is a bit misleading on Expedia.

My husband and I stayed at the Radidsson Blue Hotel, Nice for couple of nights before our River cruise and we absolutely loved it! Great location, beautiful beach with beach club ( note you have to pay for lawn chairs on the beach, which we didn’t know) Awesome rooftop pool and great food options for breakfast and lunch. Lisa and Caroline made so very special for my milestone Birthday and the front desk Amyan accommodated us with a wonderful seafront room. After the global IT issue my flight to nice was delayed and then cancelled when I notified the hotel and asked to adjust the dates of my stay they did not get back to me. Then after contacting hotel.com directly they also had trouble getting a hold of them. I was informed two days later that they would not adjust the dates or refund me for the days I missed. Then when I arrived and spoke to the manager she was condescending and not at all understanding of the terrible situation and two day delay in the airport after traveling over 14 hours to get there. I was told to contact my insurance if I wanted to be refunded for the days. I also paid for the premium room but was given the superior room. Don’t waste your money, the crown plaza is just as nice:
