This home is one of a kind in Asheville. Sitting on almost 7 acres of land you will wake up to find deer grazing in the yard and turkeys nesting in the trees. If you like bird watching or looking for adventure on the river, you have found your own private retreat. With the French Broad River in the back yard not only will you enjoy the the views from the deck but you can take advantage of the river access where you can put in or take out your kayak or go tubing for free right here on our property.
We are the last house on a very private street in South Asheville 5 minutes from Asheville Airport and 5 minutes to shopping. 7 minutes to Sierra Nevada Brewing and 15 minutes to downtown Asheville. We have a lovely fire pit to gather around in the evenings, a hot tub for soaking after a hike or a day on the river, a billiards table and theater room for social hours, a secret room hidden behind a bookcase door, a loft with sleeping for 4, 5 spacious private bedrooms-3 feature large private bathrooms, and acres of land to explore. You will love this home if you are looking for a place to get away from it all.

We offer a fully equipped kitchen with tableware for 16, a 6 burner gas stove, double oven and kitchen aid appliances. There are 15 beds total and all linens are provided. (3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 6 twin beds, 1 queen futon, 1 queen sleep sofa, and 2 double sleep sofas.) The house has a sunken living room and staircases to the loft and basement with child safety gates, however, the sunken living room does not have a safety gate. Please be aware of this feature if your group includes any guests that would have difficulty with this.

This is our second listing on VRBO so read reviews on our other property #4298855 and you will see that not only have we been providing our guests with awesome vacations for over 9 years, we have tried to fill the house with everything you will need to be comfortable while you stay with us and enjoy your time together. Fantastic house for our family
We had a very comfortable stay at this house for our annual family vacation. There were 12 people and we had plenty of beds for everyone. House was clean and well furnished. We liked how private it was. It was fairly close to grocery stores and restaurants and Asheville was about 20 min drive away. The river access wasn't as easy as we would have liked and there were ticks and mesquitos which we should have anticipated. We had a very lovely stay at the house and would definitely recommend!

Wonderful property which easily accommodated our 10 adults and 4 children (under 5). Rooms were very spacious and clean, with a full basement area that provided a great play area for the kids (and adults!). The kitchen was fully equipped and the hosts thought of everything to make it a worry-free stay. As an added bonus, the home was wonderfully decorated for Christmas. We would highly recommend this property for a large group any time of the year.

Great place to gather. Living room is a little dangerous for toddlers. It looks just beautiful, but the steps that surround the sunken living room provides a safety issue for little ones. Also, it would have been nice to have firewood prepared for the fire pit. Pictures looked as though it would be provided. The house was very well supplied with necessities! Overall, beautiful house and great location!

Fabulous place to get away
A group of eight friends stayed in this beautiful house for a reunion. It was everything the pictures depicted it to be. The house was well equipped. Close to downtown Asheville and necessities like groceries, drug store, etc. The main living area was a great place to hang out by the fireplace and downstairs was a great place to watch TV. The house accommodated us very well. Almost everyone had their own room. Five bathrooms was a big plus! Communicating with the property owner was excellent. She responded to every question immediately. It was a wonderful experience. I just wish we had more time to stay there. Great memories made!!!

Ou son and his family, and our daughter and her family joined us for a great time of fun and food at this beautiful home. The rooms are huge and furnished perfectly. The property is so beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit immensely. We would recommend this house to anyone!

The house on this property was spacious and comfortable with very nice amenities. The property manager was professional and accommodating. The location was in the woods and next to the river, but very close to all the entertainment in Asheville. I would book again if traveling near this location.

This property is amazing. Large house with huge lot and conveniently located. The host Kerri was very accommodated and provided us with very useful information on dinning and grocery options around the property. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything we need. Wonderful house in a perfect location for Asheville
If you are looking for a beautiful house close to all Asheville has to offer, yet far enough away to enjoy some nature, look no further. The property is located very close to downtown AVL, and definitely within Uber/Lyft distance to all of the breweries you may want to visit. We had a great trip and would definitely book again if we have another group trip to the area!

Home was huge and fit our guests wonderfully. All the bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and full of character! Pool table and rec room were perfect. Close to Sierra Nevada Brewery which was a bonus. Plenty of Ubers available in the area. Quick trip to downtown Asheville. Quiet, secluded, beautiful, and clean!!! Owners were super easy to communicate with! Would highly recommend!

The house was beautiful and had amazing amenities. The only minor issue we had was that the hot water did not work for more than a couple of showers at a time (and we had 8 guests). But overall it was excellent and the hosts were great too.
