Eco Design House Ducarinne

Eco Design House Ducarinne is a very special holiday house where the rustic French authenticity is in harmony with modern design. The house has been renovated with great care together with local craftsmen, resulting in a place where you can enjoy luxury, modern comfort and a beautiful and versatile environment. Horse riding enthusiasts among you: you can bring your horse(s) for an additional fee!

Ducarinne is located in the province of Lot and Garonne, an up-and-coming region in southwestern France and probably best known for producing fantastic wines and local produce. The Lot and Garonne has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, unlike many of the other South Western regions and this provides a fantastic authentic atmosphere. Striking are the influences of Scandinavian design in combination with traditional French features, such as the wooden beams and the beautiful stone terrace.

Interior
There are five hotel-worthy bedrooms in Ducarinne, three (downstairst) of which have modern en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The other two bedrooms (1st floor) share a bathroom. One bedroom downstairs (and bathroom en suite) is fully equipped for wheelchair users. In addition, there is an inviting living room with an attractive, very well-equipped kitchen with a large long wooden table for cozy dining together on the rarer cool days. Babyfoot for the youngsters. Black steel accents and beautiful wooden parts can be found throughout the house, which gives the whole a soothing and luxurious look.

Outside
Outside you will find the beautiful huge, partly covered terrace (which you enter through the sliding doors), for which original tiles have been used in the same tone as inside, making the living room seem even more spacious. The view from the terrace, surrounded by 5 hectares of private land, is truly special. There is a long outdoor dining table, perfect for al-fresco dining with the woodland scenery as the backdrop. There is also a 10-meter long swimming pool made of natural stone (and 6 m wide!) and a pool house. In the garden you will also find comfortable sunbeds and lounge chairs, a BBQ and more than enough playground for the children! A special path has been constructed for wheelchair users from the parking lot for several cars.

Environment
In this beautiful area are several thermal stations, a golf course, riding stables, lakes, tennis courts and a boulodrome. There is a cycle route at Casteljaloux.
