I made a reservation for 3 people and we had 2 bath towels. I requested one more towel from the front desk and the lady asked me, quote " Can't you share?". She took me by surprise with that. The room smelled of smock cigarettes. Definitely not a great experience

The property is older and items in the room have seen better days, however the room was clean and the beds were comfy. It was nice to have so many close, delicious, local spots to choose from for dinner every night. The hotel is close to the bus line, so it was very easy to maneuver public transportation to get to all of the sites in D.C. The T.V. was a little fuzzy, and the Wi-Fi was difficult to connect to and was slow when it did connect. If you enjoy traveling but have to do it on a budget, this is an option to cut spending while still getting a good nights sleep.

I found this place after having after struggling to find something affordable in the Washington area, and while some things were good like the wifi, hot water, fridge, access to public transit and restaurants, many things were not like a sink faucet that I couldn't turn off, filthy floors, worn out furniture that barely worked, a broken microwave and cockroaches (all reported to the staff who either promised fixes that never happened or they just didn't care). Also, good luck sleeping after 8 am as the staff make more noise than the other guests. This place is very old and very run down and needs either an extensive Reno or to be demolished. I won't be back and you shouldn't either unless you're desperate.

Fruit flys, cockroaches, breakfast bar was white bread, or sugar cereal, there was corn syrup saturated fruit cups. Nothing fresh no yogurt bleach coffee. Outlets were loose and we were unable to charge our phones without having to wait hours, no usb plug ins, no table in room other than desk,bathroom. We had to request housekeeping after four days. Area was decent but we were harassed at the gas station and at McDonalds across the street. Bonus was owners were nice, hotel just needs updated.

First off it’s a motel, not a hotel as advertised. We found our room had beds that were smaller than advertised, and incredibly uncomfortable, 2 chairs with terrible looking stains, a toilet that didn’t flush properly, the bathroom didn’t have a fan so any temperature shower you took meant a very steamy room, the continental breakfast was limited to toast, Frosted Flakes, and Raisin Bran, and when I woke up one morning I found German cockroaches crawling around the bathroom.

The photos on Expedia are very deceptive. This is not a hotel it is a motel. The image is of the lobby area and the building behind the motel. They don’t offer queen beds as advertised, the beds are doubles, if that, and very uncomfortable. Most of the pictures were removed with only nails and screws on the walls and there was only one mirror in our room. The continental breakfast consisted of 2 kinds of cereal and toast and was only available until 9:30am.

It was okay, but the plummeting was quite poor. The tub and sink drained water slowly, causing them to overflow when in use. The coffee pot was also filthy and hazardous to use. I still appreciate the mattress protectors on the beds. It’s a fantastic idea to keep guests safe from coming in contact with the bodily fluids of others. I would recommend, however, removing all cloth furniture and replacing them with furniture, such as plastic, that’s easy to clean and sanitize. My family never sit on this hotel’s chairs because they’re filthy.

The floor in the room needed to be swept. Roaches in the room. Broken room furniture. Hair on the sheets what looked like a black shoe print on them as well. 1 towel. AND the person at the front desk gave me ice from a fridge with her bare hands because the ice maker was broken. AND the elevator was broken.

Excellent Housekeeping, Great Hotel, Close to DCA
I loved the daily housekeeping services and also breakfast in the morning. I stayed 4 nights, also I had to change my room because of a clogging issue in the bathtub but everyday a clean bed after returning to hotel made up for it. Soacious room, TV quality not that good, bed is comfy. Refrigerator and Microwave Oven helps, Fresh Towels and Housekeeping everyday. Thanks.
