I enjoyed my stay here at the Hampton as usual. Flew in the day after the hurricane and our first hotel fell through but the Hampton Inn came through for us. The evening front desk staff was very helpful and patient with us. Loved that it was a decent walking/driving distance from food and entertainment. Suite was very clean and spacious. I’d definitely stay again.

Bed was hard to sleep on We booked this hotel because it was across from Port New Orleans as we were going on a cruise. We called six months prior our hotel booking and asked about parking. No one mentioned about cruise package. we got to hotel and they asked us if we signed up for cruise packaging, which is the shuttle to port, we told them no one told us that and we would have to wait in line the next morning to get on the shuttle for first come first serve. Just stayed one night at hotel and parked at Port New Orleans in their garage for our cruise.

The staff was awesome for check in. I can't remember the man's name that checked us in but he was great. If you are going the day of a cruise make sure you get down early for breakfast otherwise you will go without. The only time I didn't feel safe was late at night when I went down to smoke and there was a lot of weird things happening right in front of the hotel entrance

The breakfast alone is worth the stay. Very convenient to the convention center, only steps away.
