We were not aware that the hot tub did not work when we booked which was disappointing, especially after a 12 hour drive,also the channels on the TV pixelated the whole time thus we could not watch a show and when we went down for breakfast the coffee was empty, the eggs were almost empty and the sausages were gone, we looked for someone in the breakfast area to make them aware of the lack of product but could not find anyone. We ended up going back to the front desk to let them know. The caulking around the bathtub in our room was in desperate need of a re-do. The beds were comfortable and cleanliness was pretty good.

Disappointing!
This hotel needs a refresh. The staff was wonderful, and the lakefront patio and beach were stunning. They thought of everything when setting their outside area up- from bug spray to outdoor games! However, every other aspect of this hotel needs to be upgraded. The beds and pillows need replacing, the room smelled damp and mildewy, the shower appeared to be stained permanently, however had great water pressure. This location is amazing and I hope that they remodel soon!

It’s overpriced! The hotel is dated, needs upgrade. The room we stayed in was room 231, it’s supposed to be presidential room but nothing presidential about it. One good thing about it is the lake view from the balcony. The room could use a deep cleaning. Drawers need to be vacuumed and wiped dirty particles out. The shower drain is not working properly, the water will build up in the tub while you’re showering because it drains very very slow. The room smells like mildew or musty. It’s not worth $219 a night. Will not recommend this hotel at all if you are particular with cleanliness. The elevator was not working during our check out time.

The hotel was OK and conveniently located for us to travel to Apostle Islands. The breakfast wasn’t very good and the bedding could use replacing. The pool was having the water slides disassembled so it was closed for 2 days. It was open before we left. The jacuzzi was not working for our entire visit.

We had a room with a back door to a deck with a view of the water. It was perfect for walking the dog and then going back to bed in the morning. The view was nice except for the weeds growing high along the water. They had work going on outside and the workers were driving by on loud machines early.

Beach access and property is beautiful. It was nice that they offered breakfast, but it was lukewarm at best and some times undercooked and the tables and chairs were always in need of cleaning.
