Comfortable and ideal for cozy family cottage filled family holiday sharing and conviviality. La Bella Spiaggia, located in the old Asnelles in the heart of the landing beaches (proximity of Arromanches), has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, garden and terrace.

Beautiful location

Stay in the Heart of History

We had a perfect stay. The home is charming, well-appointed and stocked. The owner and his house manager Aurore were lovely and very easy to reach with any questions. But the best part of staying in this home is its location. Asnelles is a charming, quiet town but is easily accessible to Bayeux and Arromanches, directly in the heart of D-Day history. But even better, Asnelles is situated in the center of the northern Normandy coast, making it easy to take day trips all the way west to Mont St. Michel or all the east to Honfleurs, Le Havre and Giverney. idyllic central location to all beaches

Property was well stocked with all you need for a weeks stay , only gripe was if you are staying with elderly people the stairs are a bit steep with no hand rails, but overall we had a very pleasant stay ,

Wonderful Home and Stay

This cottage was the absolute perfect place for my husband and I and our three children (11, 7, and 2) to explore Normandy. The communication from the owners was excellent, the house was beautiful and exactly as pictured (even better in my opinion), the beds were very comfortable, and the outdoor space was great. Our children loved the bunk room and that it even had a bin full of children's books, among other things that made traveling with kids much easier and more enjoyable. The bedroom window treatments were another bonus that made adjusting to a big time difference much easier on us! They have truly thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and we really hope to return one day!

Loved this former fishermen's cottage in Asnelles!

Fabulous vacay

We had a great stay. The place was super clean and well equipped and stocked. The outside terrace was great for our three girls (5-9 yrs). The owner was extremely helpful and gave us some great tips to the region and places to visit. The local restaurant was closed both nights However, Arromanches had a lot of options and the view of the bay and ocean was spectacular. Thank you Gregoire! I highly recommend this place!

Cute, comfortable and clean

Great backyard and fantastic location. We loved our stay at the property, and it was a perfect size for our group of four adults and two children. The beds we're so comfortable and the room for the kids was perfect! The stairs were a bit steep, but they weren't a problem for us. We walked to the beach and to the charming town for groceries and breakfast. We would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Normandy.

D Day

We booked Asnelles as it was very convenient for the D Day commemoration , and so it proved to be. A short walk to the beach and at low tide a walk to Arramanche. The house was lovely but the weather could have been a bit better (not their fault). The heating in the house kept us warm and there was a log fire , all ready to be lit, should we have needed it. Gisela met us and was charming. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a great property in a lovely, peaceful location. It’s really well-located for exploring the area and the d-day landing beaches, and is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. We had a great visit, and may well be back for more!

Wonderful cosy cottage. Perfect location to explore the Normandy coastline.

We had the pleasure of staying in La Bella Spiaggia for our family trip to visit the Normandy Region. The cottage is superbly decorated and comfortable. The wood burner provides additional heating if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked and the outside rear garden offers a quiet space to relax. Access to the bedrooms is via a spiral staircase. 2 of the bedrooms have sloped roofs but are still very spacious. The staircase to the top floor is steep and more of a ladder than a proper staircase. It is still easy accesible though and has a ensuite toilet. Guille who calls at the property and is on hand if you need her is very helpful and speaks good English. There is a €250 deposit payable on arrival. This is returned when you leave so not an issue. I dont recall it mentioned when booking though. There are other optional fees if you wish for cleaning and bed making to be done for you. Would happily stay here again. Thank you very much.

Alles bestens

wir waren eine Woche im Cottage, uns fehlte an nichts. Küche, Bäder und Zimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Asnelles ist eine top Lokation, in der Basse Normandie, um die D-Day-Strände der Landung zu besichtigen. Wir können den Cottage in dieser schönen Gegend uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen

La maison est décorée avec goût. Le poêle au bois était très facile à gérer et très appréciable en ce mois de mars. La maison est très bien équipée : cuisine et buanderie. Les propriétaires sont réactifs à tout problème. Par contre, les deux escaliers pour monter aux chambres ne sont pas adaptés pour des personnes à mobilité réduite. Ils sont étroits. Et les chambres adultes : l une est très mansardée et l autre sous les toits : il faut le savoir. La mer est non loin comme indiquée, très facile d accès. Un petit carrefour market est très utile pour combler les grosses courses. C est une localisation au centre des différents lieux touristiques : près des plages du débarquement, mais aussi non loin de Caen ou de Cabourg. Merci beaucoup.

Tolle Unterkunft, ideale Lage

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem wunderschön renovierten und eingerichteten Haus sehr genossen, besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Ausstattung und die liebevoll gestattete Einrichtung. Ideal als Ausgangsort für einen Besuch der Landungsstrände und lange Strandspaziergänge.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Asnelles. Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und voll ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Sehr haben wir uns über die Begrüßung in Form von Plätzchen,Wein und Kaffee gefreut. Das einchecken war unkompliziert und wir haben uns schnell zurecht gefunden. Wir wurden sehr nett von den Eltern der Vermieter begrüßt und uns wurden alle Fragen beantwortet. Im Haus war alles an Austattung vorhanden, was man sich nur wünschen kann, selbst Seife,Duschgel, Spülmaschinen und Waschmaschinentabs, Zucker Salz und Öl etc etc. Lediglich die Treppen sind in dem Haus sehr schmal und teilweise steil, für kleine Kinder oder unsportliche Leute eher nicht geeignet. Ansonsten ist alles sehr durchdacht und liebevoll eingerichtet, wir waren sehr zufrieden. :-)
