We were checked in very quickly which was nice since the line was quite long due to it being the bridge race weekend and the staff were very friendly. We've stayed in this hotel several times, so we didn't expect the room to be the very best, but it's convenient if you are doing the bridge race. The door to the room was VERY difficult to open, with instructions to open it written in sharpie on the door. The room had an unpleasant odor when you walked in, almost like cigarettes. The fan in the bathroom was VERY loud, and only got louder the longer it ran. The shower head is so low that you have to crouch down to get under it when you shower. The television is the absolute WORST to operate, VERY difficult and comes w no sort of instructions to assist you. The room only had 2 towels, even tho we made a reservation for 4 people, so we had to go back to the office to request more towels. Like I said, we've stayed here before, it's convenient for the bridge race, and we'll likely stay again, but this could've been the least favorite room we've ever stayed in.

Needs renovation and maintenance.
Although the staff was friendly and attentive the room lacked ventilation and I alerted the staff that the bathroom fan was inoperable. The bathroom tiles were coming away from the wall and the ceiling appeared as though it had water damage and shabby. Despite the towels in the bathroom and the sheets, pillows, and blankets being clean and comfortable I will choose to stay elsewhere next time I come to Astoria, Oregon.

All staff members we interacted with were pleasant and helpful, and we appreciated the harbor view from our 2nd-floor room. Our room itself was not in the best shape, however: there was an unappealing scattering of dark stains on the carpet as you enter the bedroom area, there were large handprints on the mirror behind the toilet which should have been removed in the last cleaning, the hair dryer was apparently broken (would not turn on even after multiple checks of the two GFCIs involved) and a loose, broken-off section of gutter was lashed to our balcony wall and blew around in the wind. On a separate note, AC outlets should be provided on both sides of the bed, not just one. The complimentary breakfast was adequate but far from inspiring. The hotel's location was very convenient to the events we attended, and it was a comfortable spot to return to in the evening.

The property is older, so the hotel and room wasn’t exactly what we had thought it would be, but the view overlooking the water from our balcony was amazing. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. We couldn’t get our TV to work, so we called the desk, and they had someone there within 5 minutes to help us reboot the connection. The breakfast was very good, and they had someone constantly checking to make sure everything was stocked. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed Astoria.

4th time staying here. Great location with an epic view. Walkable to Bridgewater Bistro, a fantastic restaurant. Our room door wouldn't lock and half the bathroom lights were out, so we were immediately moved to a different room. Everything was great after that.

Conveniently located in Astoria.
Started off rocky, got key card, opened room and it hadn’t been cleaned. Office upgraded us to executive suite which was amazing. Great view off balconies. Nice breakfast and staff very nice.

This place has been remodeled, and they did an average job. It definitely is a convienient spot if you are coming to Astoria for the Bridge run. I don't think i would stay here for an entire weekend because your not that close to the downtown area. The staff was excellent though!

We got a room for a very busy Astoria weekend. This was the only room available. We should have found another place to stay. The staff were great, but the place was old, rundown, noisy, and I do question how safe the place was.

Everything was great except the bathroom (and our neighbor’s bathroom). The fan was too noisy to use (so we had need up with wet walls after showering). The toilet, when flushed, was very noisy. Same for the toilet in the neighboring room. The noise continued until the large tank was refilled. There was also a broken light cover in the bathroom but that was inconsequential compared to the noise. What we liked was the water view, the bed, and the swivel club chairs.
