Super Location
This is a classy, well run hotel in "the best location". Every tourist attraction is less than 10 min walk . We booked a Jnr. Suite ( as we had quite a bit off luggage) and was upgraded to suite with a huge balcony with panoramic views over the Acropolis. :-) The breakfast spread was very good and the views at breakfast even better. Would highly recommend E.P. if staying in Athens

Great Stay at a Beautiful Hotel
We came to Athens for two nights and chose the Electra Palace because it had a pool. Our stay was exceptional. The staff was wonderful and our breakfasts were delicious. Our views were incredible and I would not hesitate to stay here again. The only issue we had was that the pull out bed was uncomfortable, but it was a pull out bed so it was expected.

Amazing! We loved everything about this property. Location: located in Plaka, the heart of Athens. Walking distance to the Acropolis and other attractions (such as the temple of Zeus). Surrounded by countless quaint restaurants and shops. Views: we had stunning views of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant, pool area and even our room (which was not even technically a room with a view). Staff: the staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. They seemed genuinely happy to have us there. A stand-out was Nikos in the rooftop restaurant - so warm and friendly. Food: the breakfast buffet (included) was fresh and delicious. Lots of fruit, nuts, cheeses, fresh pastries, and warm dishes (bacon, sausages etc.). We were served freshly squeezed orange juice every day - such a treat! The coffee was soooo good. We had beautiful cafe lattes daily - all included for free with breakfast. Room: we were a family of 3 in a Classic triple. Our bed was large (queen or king?) and extremely comfortable. Nice quality sheets and pillows. Our son had a small single bed (converted from a couch). He was happy with it, although of course it was not as comfortable as the bed. We slept like babies and never heard any noise (although we do sleep with a white noise machine so that likely helped). Shower was fairly large with a rain shower head. Everything was very clean and updated. We had a Juliet balcony - next time I think we would upgrade for a full balcony.
