I booked my room for a few days..people & staff are nice & it is a good environment. However, they gave me a terrible room and we can’t able to adjust our temperature ( not sure they set their own rules in the front of front desk) my room was so hot and I was not be able to sleep at night. I told their staff that I need to change a new room but they don’t take an action ASA possible.

The property itself presents beautifully. The metro station is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Also, very close to tram station to travel to southern beaches. The area the hotel is located is slightly unappealing, but we never felt unsafe. Our main complaint is concerning the staff and property amenities. As other reviewers have noted, the staff will inform you that your room was upgraded to the hotel across the street. We declined this option. We spoke to other travelers who accepted the offer and they were extremely unhappy with their choice citing they had no air conditioning and no access to roof top deck. This practice seems extremely unethical and should be discontinued immediately. The air conditioning in our room is controlled by the front desk. The room temperature is set at 24C (76F), which is not comfortable after spending the day in the afternoon heat. We asked on 3 different days to lower the room temperature, and the front desk obliged only once. I would rather paid more money to this hotel during reservation than be misled that this hotel has air conditioning. At times, the hallways would be noisy with children running up the stairs at 2am. Personally, even though the hotel is convenient to all major locations around the city, I would not recommend staying at Gallery Residencies and Suites.

I didnt like design of the bathroom Was difficult to sqeeze in to the toilet when you open the door Also water in the shower didnt flow properly and was always on the floor and wood smell after the full day staying on the floor There were no small important things like tissues? Dont disturb sign

We arrived two days before our cruise and enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff were very friendly and everyone spoke English. The property is 7 minutes away from the cruise port E12 and a couple a blocks away from the ferry. We Ubered in to Athens every day and were able to enjoy all the major sites at our leisure.

Can’t believe it had this high of a rating. Terrible stay. They do NOT let you control the temperature the air conditioner! Was set at 25 C (around 78 f and it was 100 outside at the time) and I had to go down to the front desk to plead with them to turn it down. Only wanted to 23 c but went down again to get them to go to 22 c. Would have like at least 20 c. Horrible bed. Loud crashing/metal scraping noises all night long, at least till 4am. Told the front desk but he said he thought it was construction?!? At that time of thr night? Window without screen on it was left open before we arrived. Bugs were flying around in the room when we got there. Only positive is that I was given a good suggestion for food around the corner. Really bad stay. Pictures look nice but don’t be fooled.
