Beautiful breakfast buffet with many options. The floor in our room was very dirty, black on towel when wiped on floor after shower. Bathroom was never cleaned in 5 days, dirty sink particularly. Clean fresh bedding and very comfortable bed. No place for luggage other than the floor, only one small luggage stand.

Good location and restaurant
We loved that the hotel had a swimming pool and roof terrace. We paid extra to have a view of the Acropolis but we we hadn’t as it meant our room was on the 8th floor right below the restaurant/pool and sun terrace. This meant that everytime someone moved a chair upstairs it was really noisy in our room. Also our room was next to the stairwell so it was very noisy as people came and went from/to upstairs. The hotel was a comfortable walk from downtown Athens and had some good restaurants nearby. Totally recommend the imhouse restaurant, the Mousakka was amazing!

The staff were excellent and breakfast had probably the best buffet I’ve ever had. Rooftop pool and restaurant have great views of the city and the Acropolis. Would highly recommend to all visiting Athens.

From the moment we arrived, we had smiles and kindness. Small welcome chat from the staff. We arrived a day early for a tour and were able to keep our room that we booked for the pre night. Also they gifted us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. So kind and it was in our room when we didn’t expect it at all.

The Stanley is a fine hotel with great location. Staff was attentive and nice. Room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool, and restaurant offered a wonderful view of the city and Acropolis. Affordable and convenient.

The hotel was clean and modern. Staff provided excellent service. The food from Cloud 9 was fantastic! We loved the rooftop restaurant and pool, even though the pool was a bit too cold. Our room had everything we needed. The only negative was the small awkward shower.

Had a really great stay at the Stanley hotel. The room we stayed in was quite big for 3 people, the room was clean and the bathroom was a good size. Came with good amenities - fridge, kettle, coffee/tea, tv, wifi, safe etc. Had room service at all hours which was a good amenity. But the star of the show and what makes this hotel amazing was the rooftop floor. A beautiful basically 360 degree view of Athens with the acropolis in sight, which is beautiful at night. The restaurant/bar has amazing food and drinks, and the pool area had lots of sun beds. Food and drinks can be served to the pool which is also good. At times it got very busy but there generally wasn’t the morning rush for a sunbed and we were always able to find one. The breakfast was pretty standard for a breakfast buffet but had a decent selection. The only downside was the location of the hotel as the area doesn’t seem to be the nicest, and would probably not want to go out at night, though the hotel is a minute or two walk from the metro station which takes about 5 mins to get into Syntagma, Plaka and Acropoli. Overall we would recommend staying at the Stanley.
