I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Abstract Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand, a unique and stylish masterpiece of modern hospitality. Every corner is a conversation starter, every room a gallery, and every staff member a curator of comfort. First, the rooms. I stayed in a suite so stylish that I felt like I needed a beret and a degree in fine arts just to sleep there. The bed was super comfortable. And the view! Trees and greenery right in the middle of the city—such an unexpected and utterly refreshing sight. One of the highlights was the hotel's library, with its dual roaring fireplaces. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a good book, surrounded by warmth and elegance. And the winter garden? Simply enchanting. An oasis that made me forget I was in the heart of the city. However, what sets the Abstract Hotel apart is the staff. They were so friendly. Their smiles didn’t feel forced—they actually enjoyed their work and went out of their way to be helpful. In conclusion, if you're ever in Auckland and want to feel like a cultured, pampered superstar, book a room at the Abstract Hotel. It’s an experience worth every cent and then some. It has a really nice quirky feel, staff were lovely and check in was easy. Only a couple of downsides.. there was not a second duvet, and not enough milk pods (there's never enough milk pods 😆). We'll be back

The sound from the next room carries really loudly through the air ducts. It was basically like the people in the next room were in the bedroom with me. A bit off putting. Great location though and close to the krd restaurants and nightlife.
