Fire evacuation during our stay. Afterwards, staff couldnt get elevators working so nobody could access their rooms. We were consequently late to our concert. Other than that, absolutely beautiful hotel.

The Horizon was lovely. It was quiet and the service was excellent. The parking was a little tricky having to park across at Skycity, navigate a couple of lifts and walk through the Sky bridge to get back to the Horizon, but that become easy enough after a couple of days. The pillows were very big and uncomfortable and the polyester duvet inner felt quite cheap. But the beds were very comfortable! Overall would recommend.

We were booked into a city view room (which looked straight into the building next door!). The lights in the bathroom came on and went off all during the night (clearly a fault which we reported), but very annoying for our 1 night stay. Hopefully, this won't happen to anyone else

Nice hotel close to town
Late check in as arrived post midnight. No issues. Room was clean, tidy with huge bed & comfy pillows. Essential toiletries provided as well as toothpaste & brush. Hi tech room with light touch buttons .direct access into sky city casino via bridge ( think mini version of Vegas) Breakfast choice very fresh & plentiful with option to choose eggs & dish of the day cooked to order . Very friendly & 🤗 welcoming staff. Even though central it was quiet for sleeping

What a debacle!!
Unable to check in at 1.30pm when we arrived. Told room not ready. Filled out all necessary paper work. Gave receptionest phone number at her request,she would ring us when room ready. We had free self parking in the Sky casino car park. Told by receptionest we could walk through Casino with our bags toget to the Hotel via sky bridge. Stopped by Security of Casino not allow to take our bags via Casino. 3pm went back to checkin. Had not been phoned by Receptionest. 3.05pm Room still not ready. Waited at 3.30pm room still not ready. Two minutes later called over by another receptionest Room now ready. Up at the room one of the Keys not working. No milk in fridge. TV not working.
