We’ve stayed at this location before and while it isn’t awful, it also could use some improvements. When checking in there was a sign saying they were short staffed and someone would be with us momentarily. I waited 20 minutes before someone came to the front desk. The room we were assigned had a broken door and a note that said lift handle. You could tell the room/door had been broken into before and was patched with a metal plate. None of the exterior key card entries work so there were rocks holding the doors open!!

Condition of the property is poor. Except the reception area, all hotel corridors smell like animal piss and smoke. The first room we got had a terrible 'feet' or 'wet dog' smell. After complaining, we had to wait 45 min for the hotel to run a defogger in the room in an attempt to take the stink out because they did not have any other room available on the first floor. That seemed to work the first night, but the stink came right back by the morning. We ended up changing rooms, just to find out, TV in the 2nd room does not work! The hotel couldn't fix it or swap it out with another one. Then, we changed rooms again! This time we were given a room that clearly was broken into before as a metal bar was screwed onto the door jamb in front of the lock to prevent another attempt! The hotel is in a really nice area walking distance to many stores at The Domain, but we would never stay at this property again.

I liked the area, clean area, shopping. I did not like the customer experience with the staff. I show empathy qhen it sounds like staff has had a day but there was no effort on the staff. All of the 3 times i spoke to the staff, she gave me negative energy, unapproachable, etc. The day i checked-in rained a lot. Someone turned on the fire alarm, and all of the guests had to stay outside, which is understandable which we have to follow the fire protocols. During the time we were outside we saw a lot of leaks and it seemed as something that had been going on for some time. The structure seemed damaged and right after by my room, parts of the floor was wet. That could only mean that part, if not all, of the structure of the building is already damaged; lastly, the halls smelled humid, really bad.

Always a great stay!
We always have a great stay here! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and smelling fresh. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast is DELICIOUS!
