'Graziosa Villetta' with Mountain View, Private Pool and Air Conditioning

The Graziosa Villetta in Avapessa offers stunning mountain views, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The 93 m² house includes a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with bunk beds, and three bathrooms, accommodating up to 8 people, ideal for two couples with children. Amenities include a TV, air conditioning, a washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Outside, there’s a heated shared pool, a garden, an open terrace, a balcony, and a barbecue. Bed linens can be rented for an additional fee if requested during booking.
Located in an olive grove, this house is close to hiking trails, the ports of Calvi and L’Ile-Rousse, and Calvi Airport. The L’Ile-Rousse train station, 12 km away, provides access to Bastia, Corte, and Ajaccio. The Balagne region, rich in cultural and sports events, offers a variety of activities like hunting, fishing, sailing, paragliding, swimming in the sea or rivers, visiting nearby villages, and exploring the Scandola nature reserve. The house has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and is decorated with paintings by the owner. The pool, secured and heated in May and October, is open from May 1st to October 31st and is reserved for listed renters.

Three parking spaces are available. One pet is allowed, but smoking is prohibited inside.
This house, inherited from my grandmother, was originally a family outbuilding located 10 meters from the main house. With the help of a grant from the Corsican Tourism Agency, it was restored by local craftsmen, using traditional materials and respecting the local architecture. The house offers views of the Regino plain, providing an ideal setting to explore the region while preserving this family heritage, which I plan to pass on to my son and granddaughter.

I am Christian, born in 1940 in L’Ile-Rousse. I completed most of my studies in Bastia, except for four years spent in North Africa with my father. I’ve worked as a schoolteacher, mayor of Avapessa from 1971 to 2008, delegate of the Mediator of the Republic, and president of the Haute-Corse Pétanque Committee. I have received several distinctions, including the National Order of Merit and medals for my work in tourism and sports.
