PERFECT LOCATION FOR A VACATION! THE BEACHES ARE LARGE AND NOT CROWDED. THE HOUSE HAS PLENTY OF GAMES AND EVEN A TIKI BAR TO ENJOY. AMAZING DECK PROVIDES SHADE AND DRY SPACE TO ENJOY ALL DAY AND NIGHT! FIVE ADULT BICYCLES, ONE TANDOM BICYCLE, AND THREE KAYAKS FOR USE AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!

Check in at 5 pm and a 10 am check-out (SEASON IS MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO LABOR DAY WEEKEND)! Off season - Minimum night stays vary after Season which is after Labor Day to Memorial Day

RENOVATED - Including a new kitchen with new appliances, new marble countertops, new plumbing, new electrical fixtures, new wood ceilings & paneled walls in all of the main living area including kitchen, dining area and living room, new roof, all new HVAC units, and a Tiki Bar! Playroom downstairs has been freshly painted with new furniture and accessories.

Amazing Experience for a Large Group
I had an amazing experience at this location. I brought a large group (20) folks, and this large house was the perfect location in every way imaginable. The location was right next to the beach with a 1 minute walk to the boardwalk, perfect for our young group who were out and about all day. The house itself came with amazing amenities. Clean beds, clean bathrooms, a big living room and kitchen area made living in the house very easy. The deck area came with bicycles, a bar tv, a grill, and lots of space for seating which made it an amazing place to enjoy the breeze and relax with lots of people. I don’t know how this experience could have been improved. Highly recommend!

Large family short stay
We came down for the weekend to send my nephews ashes off into the ocean. We were only in town from a Friday to Sunday but the weather was not forgiving for the weekend. Luckily this home provided plenty of room for the entire family that stayed including the ones that just hung out and allowed for things to do as well without having to leave. As far as cooking everything we needed was there. The owner was nice pleasant and fair to work with. If we get to go back we will try to stay here again.

Adorable Beach House
We came down during off season and stayed just to hang out with family and play bored games and explore. It was the perfect house for that! Tons to do. Host was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful weekend in October
The house is well equipped and very clean. The location is great and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing and cooking out. Loved the room downstairs which worked out great for our 13 year old dog. Love the spiral staircase for shortcut to the upstairs.

October Surf Weekend
My brother and I traveled up to catch a swell with some old surfing buddies. Great house, plenty of room for friends to sleep. Location was perfect we were able to surf on the beach in front of the house all day, then warm up in the hot Tub with some NFL football on the TV! We biked down to the Froggy Dog for dinner. Easiest surf weekend in the OBX I have ever had. Also enjoyed some conversation with the friendly neighbors. We will be back!

Big house and closer to beach
This house is really big and can accommodate a group of 15-20 people. The house is within walking distance of the beach and there is Dairy Queen right opposite the house. The house has a nice hot tub and a TV mounted right in front of it. Nice place to relax in the evening.

Great House
The house was exactly as advertised, the beach is close, ORV access is close by as well. Dairy Queen is across the street, that was a favorite of my whole family. It is is great location and even though houses are close, it was quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend for family vacations.

Great spot, great owner, great vibes
Stayed with 14 of my fraternity brothers. The place was amazing. Good air conditioners, good beds; we loved the tiki bar outside. There was a ton of beach chairs, a hammock, games, and a grill. The vibes outside were amazing, it was a great spot to just chill with some buddies, beers, and music. Close proximity to the beach. The owner was also great. She responded very quickly to anything and was also very clear on house rules and whatnot. Super nice person, best host we've ever had.

The owner was extremely vigilant with responding to messages quickly and was also very nice and accommodating. The expectations placed upon us were not out of the ordinary and the house was very fun, even on the rainy days of our stay. The patio area was fantastic.

Good Stay at Hideawat
The cottage is convenient to the beach and extremely well outfitted, duplicates on almost everything, lots of games and beach equipment. Rooms are nicely outfitted. There are some issues with moving around in the cottage. The downstairs bedroom is only accessible by going outside or through another bedroom but it isn't a huge problem. There are two upstairs bathrooms, but one requires going through a bedroom. Overall, its a nice , basic, not spectacular beach cottage.

We really enjoyed staying at Rhonda’s property! The house was exactly as listed and was very clean and well stocked. The access to the beach was close and there were plenty of things to do within walking distance or a short drive. We definitely recommend this house and will be back!

We were a group of 12 and The Hideaway met our needs. The decks make this house. The downstairs area is huge and great for games. The deck off the kitchen is nice for morning coffee and breakfast. This is a beach rental. It provides a place close to the beach, three showers and tons of beach gear.
