We did our best when renovating this house to preserve the look and show the traditional Japanese mud walls and beams that are special to a minka house The doors windows and switches are early 19th century antiques from England and along with the revamped tatami room and goemon bath you will feel like you have slipped back in time
The backyard is fully enclosed with a hot stone pizza oven gas BBQ and fire pit so you can enjoy the day in your own private sanctuary / AKIYA cornerstone
