The hotel was comfortable, the city of Koblenz was a pleasant size, there were many good restaurants within walking distance, the scenery was beautiful, and the hotel staff were very friendly and polite.

We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!

Buses right in front of the property. Easy to get groceries too! There’s a mall across the street — good for some quick shopping. Love the convenience to get food nearby and even some drinks by the hotel lobby. Toilet sliding door can be smoother. The damaged marks on the walls are evident. Other than that, love it!
