It was an unique experience to stay in a castle. There were three levels to the apartment with many steps. Breakfast was good.

Amazing Place to Stay
Amazing place to stay, we were warmly welcomed. The rooms were very good clean and with coffee making machine. The staff were all very helpful. We couldn't have breakfast as we left very early so they made us a basket of bread, cheese, ham and eggs and left in our room so we could eat before we left.

Die Gastgeberin hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Aufgrund eines Wasserschadens konnten wir die gebuchten Zimmer nicht beziehen. Sie hat uns zwei Ausweichunterkünfte besorgt und das teurere Turmzimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Turmzimmer ist allerdings nix für Jeden, Wendeltreppe mit 64 Stufen 😉 Aber etwas besonderes. Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bad Münstereifel mit dem Outlet sehenswert 👍

pand was prima, mooie historische locatie en prachtige ligging. Het onderhoud liet te wensen over, zo waren diverse lampen defect en was de sluiting van deuren en ramen kapot. De keuken was heel slordig en amateuristisch gemonteerd. De knop van de verwarming was kapot/los en daardoor bleef de verwarming op volle toeren doordraaien. Het ontbijt was op zich prima, maar omdat het "ruhetag" was wij na twee dagen de enige gasten waren werd dit de avond van tevoren op de kamer gebracht. Dat betekende zelf voor koffie etc. zorgen en geen verse broodjes. Toen wij dit een tweede keer weigeren werd dit niet op prijs gesteld. Dat gaf ons het gevoel lastig te zijn.

We kregen Niet wat we hadden geborkt
Expedia had onze boeking bevestigd. Burghotel wist nergens van en zag het als ons probleem. We hadden separaat ook een bevestiging van hun hotel moeten hebben! Dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt.we konden terecht bij een uitermate vriendelijke dame in een buitenwijk, een heel ouwbollig maar net pensioen. Wel flink bult op fietsen en niks van de sfeer van het burghotel. Dit doen we nooit weer en dit is ok de eerste en laatste keet dat we via Expedia boeken

wir waren sehr zufrieden
Wir waren von Do.-Sa. da und waren voll Zufrieden. Waren das zweite Mal da aber das erste Mal im Turm. Einfach Klasse, es ist mal was ganz anderes. Essen war gut und auch beim Frühstück wurde sich viel Mühe gegeben. Freundliches und bemühtes Personal. Wir wollen wieder in die Burg.

Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Burg und waren von der Freundlichkeit der Betreiber sehr angetan. Frühstück war gut und auch das Abendessen auf der Burg ist in Ordnung. Im Burg eigenen Laden kann man leckere Senf und Essig Variationen kaufen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben Ihren ganz eigenen Charme. Die Möbel wirken etwas zusammen gewürfelt. Aber bei diesem Preis, ist das jammern auf hohen Niveau. Mit ein bisschen neuer Inneneinrichtung, bzw mit einem klaren Konzept in den tollen grossen Räumen wäre ich auch gern bereit 20€ mehr zu zahlen.

Gebucht wurde Studio mit Blick auf die Stadt auf der Burg. Bestätigt wurde: Zitat: Lebe Geste für Ihre wünsch Termin vom 08.12.-10.12.2017 haben wir eine schöne Wohnung direkt an der Erft,unterhalb gelegen für Sie frei. Bekommen haben wir eine aus Spanplatten zusammengezimmerte, laute Bruchbude in der Altstadt. So gut wie kein Tageslicht da Minifenster! Ein eiskalter Holzverhau als sog. Wohnzimmer aber mit 2 elektrische Heizstrahlern. Abzocke! Wir mussten den Preis für das "Burgstudio" zahlen. Das Loch war nicht die Hälfte wert. Fernseher kein Bild, trotz Hinweis darauf kam keiner um das zu beheben! Positiv: Das Frühstück auf der Burg war gut und sehr reichhaltig. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Hotel Eifelburg in Bad Münstereifel
Wir waren von Samstag bis Montag in einem Zimmer des Eifelburg Hotels in Bad Münstereifel untergebracht. Das Zimmer lag allerdings nicht direkt in der Burg, sondern unten im Ort. Das war uns allerdings vorher schon bewusst und stellte auch kein Problem dar. Das Zimmer bzw. Apartement selbst war in einem sehr kleinen und schmalen Haus, wie es sehr viele in Münstereifel gibt, untergebracht. Über zwei sehr schmale enge Stiegen ging es bei niedriger Deckenhöhe nach oben. Das Apartement selbst insgesamt in Ordnung, wenn man auf größeren Komfort verzichtet. Die Dielen knarrten gewaltig. Die Steckdosen saßen locker in der Wand. Eine Steckdose im Bad hing fast aus der Wand. Zum Übernachten und zwischenzeitlichem kurzen Aufhalten in Ordnung. Sauberkeit war okay. Dusche war gut. Wasserdruck gut und gleichmäßige Wassertemperatur.

Die Burg liegt sehr schön über dem Ort Bad Münster
Mann kann seher schön wandern und Bad Münstereifel ist ein sehr schönes ortschen mit Mittelalterkarakter.
