The Hotel is lovely and beautifully renovated with unique touches. Very clean. Our suite was huge and loved the bathroom. Staff friendly. Good spot for walking most places. Only minor negative it that our room was right near the railway station so a bit noisy but we soon stopped noticing it. All in all a fabulous weekend getaway. Thanks!

Very small and private, close to everything
Very comfortable and well decorated. Very interesting artworks and building. Split system, exhaust fan and under bath vanity was dusty and not maintained which wasn’t very nice considering it’s such a small space. Service was good but no desire to converse or upsell or tell us about the hotel or localities, very minimal which isn’t good enough for a boutique hotel in the bustling Ballarat. Restaurant had excellent service and decor, food was exceptional apart from the pistachio crumb was burnt on the pannacotta.

It was okay. Room was much smaller than expected and furnishings were showing quite a bit of wear and tear and the shower seals didn’t keep the water in. Wasn’t expecting the Ritz, but it wasn’t cheap and had expected more based on reputation. It was a place to sleep, that’s it.

Very interesting heritage building. Our room was extremely small, only one side of the bed was accessible. The use of vintage finds in the decor were appreciated and added character but the general condition of paintwork and carpet where poor.
