Solid rock cabin sits on the grounds of the historic Silver Spur Dance Hall Ruins. The old dance hall once hosted some of the best country and western bands from the 30s – 50s. Dolly Parton, George Jones, and Willie Nelson, to name a few.

Dolly Parton, George Jones, and Willie Nelson, to name a few. On a cliff overlooking the Medina River and the city of Bandera. Cabin sleeps 2 to 4. Amenities include full kitchen, Jacuzzi tub with walk-in shower, and charcoal grill. Studio like accommodation. Queen bed in bedroom and sofa sleeper in living area. Very open accommodation. Multiple accommodations on property.

A Gem on a Hill
Thoughtfully arranged! Unique and spacious.. Filled with light with two strategically placed skylights (but not in the bedroom allowing total darkness. Arched doorways are closed off with black out drapes rather than doors which I found delightful! Quiet and safe. Fantastic views! Driving to the property in the early morning and evening I say TONS of deer, ducks and armadillo!!! Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful historic location
The cottage was well furnished and comfortable, huge shower and tub, and a nice outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and it's only a 5 minute drive to town with a lot of good options to eat there. The town itself was fun, lots of live music and friendly people. There are no interior doors, only curtains, so not much privacy for the bathroom. Really interesting property with the historic dancehall and the views are amazing! One thing to know, there was active construction at the dancehall which was a surprise. It was not a big issue since we were there on the weekend, but it might be disruptive for a mid-week stay.

Wrong cabin
Property manager sent check in code to the cabin I rented to the wrong person. So my husband and I were put in a different cabin. We went from renting the second to the largest to bring put in the smallest. Was given a refund that was equal to the difference in rental price. I had to insist on an added refund. The property was beautiful. Would have been great if we were in the correct cabin

This was the best equipped location (amenities like kitchen and cleaning supplies, towels, bedding, etc.) we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many. Nowhere can you find the cultural history of country music in your backyard like this place! The Silver Spur Dancehall ruins are spectacular. Two great nights at Amah's and live country music at three great venues just blocks and minutes away! All at affordable prices! My wife and I had an enchanted birthday weekend there. Will come back for sure.
