The staff at Villa de Pranakorn were always at the ready to help. They hailed taxis, dashed to open doors, loaded my scooter in and out of taxi trunks and consistently asked about my stay. It’s the right place to stay in old town.

It was our first time to travel to Bangkok. Arrived late night the in house dining was already closed fortunately there were snacks in the room. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly . They would call grab or taxi for us so we can get discounted rates. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Villa de Pranakorn.

Great pool sheltered in the courtyard. Good breakfast options. Good service with welcome drink on arrival and luggage storge. Room was ready a little late but nice lobby to wait in. I had a perfect stay at Villa de Pranakorn. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are comfortable and in great condition. Breakfast was good and hotel is well situated to reach major sites quickly. Street is relatively quiet but great food options near by.

I's say this is a really nice 3 star hotel. Or a really bad 4 star. The staff was very very friendly but the accommodations were quite lacking. Our room was quite large but had a funky smell to it. The resources seemed a bit limited, we asked for an extra comforter, they said they didn't have one. We did end up getting one but really?? It's not really a great neighborhood, I didn't feel unsafe, it's just not particularly interesting or near interesting things. It IS about two blocks from Jae Fai's restaurant. Overall I wouldn't recommend.

Too far from the sites but nice hotel
The hotel was nice but it is a 20-25 min walk to any thing you want to see. Ordinarily that is not a problem but when it is 96 deg. out you are covered with sweat by the time you get there. Nice but if you want to be near all the fun it’s too far away. Fortunately you can take a Tuk tuk cheaply to most places. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
