Great place to stay! Not too far away from shops and restaurants but you will need to plan to drive. Bar harbor has plenty of parking. Very quiet and very clean

We enjoyed our stay. Nice little walking path outside of the hotel with views of the coastline. They didn’t have free hot breakfast, but did set out breakfast bars in the lobby for free everyday which was nice. Other than a stain on one of the chairs in our room, it was very clean. In a nice, quiet area with only a 5 minute drive from shopping and dining. Free bus transportation was available if needed. 4 out of 5 stars!

Check in was slow and they weren’t concerned. Business center and coffee bar was always messy. They had a sign offering hot cider starting at 4 but never had any. We were confused about the name because Regency was on a lot of things and town people referred to it as such. Room was ok but it looked like we got one of the dated ones compared to some we saw. Bed was comfy though. We ate at Stewmans lobster pound onsite the night we arrived which happened to be their last night for the season and it was good. We also were able to catch a free bus to downtown and their season was over our last night too. It was too cold to fully enjoy the property but it looked like a great summer place to stay.

The setting of this property is very nice. The room was very comfortable and well cared for. Would have liked room service that actually delivered to the room.

Convenient to Acadia National Park. There are some good amenities - complimentary laundry, an outdoor pool, an outdoor hot tub, racquetball/pickleball court. Additionally, there are a few tours (whale watching, etc) that leave from the hotel. The local free Island Explorer bus has a stop on the hotel property that will take you to downtown Bar Harbor. There is also what seemed to be a popular restaurant and bar on site, though I did not take the opportunity to visit these. Free, onsite parking is plentiful. There is an accessible business center which is useful for printing off passes to Acadia National Park. The rooms and halls are somewhat run down - not unclean, but also not updated.
