Antique, beautifully restored farmhouse, with magnificent view over the Mugello Valley and the lake of Bilancino.
Large kitchen with all facilities and open fireplace private garden with beautiful view, separate loggia and pergola where you can enjoy your meals 'al fresco'.
Ground floor: kitchen with all the facilities (oven-microwave, dishwasher, fridge, gas fire), two bedrooms (one with double bed, the other with twin beds), bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, bidet). A small storage room with washing machine.
First floor: large living-room with Sky TV-Computer Wi-FI and DVD and CD player, library with books and CD films, second bathroom (bathtub, sink, toilet, bidet), studio with sofa-bed.
We are a couple, architect and painter, living in an old farm house that we have restored with great care.
The home stands on the hilltop overlooking the beautiful Mugello Valley. It’s divided in two units from ground to roof. We live in one part and rent the other unit (sq meters 150), completely independent with its own private entrance, exclusive garden and separate pergola and loggia.
The home is situated in the Mugello Valley, 40 minutes drive from Florence, an area where the famous Medici Family, Princes of Florence, has its origin and where many famous artists from the past were born (Giotto, Beato Angelico, Cimabue).
The house is published in the books “Country Interiors” and “Icons: Tuscan style”, both edited in 6 languages by Taschen.
CREATIVE PAINTING COURSE available on request. The guest is welcome to apply for short creative painting course to take place in the nearby Studio of the Artist.

Perfect Tuscany Getaway.
The farmhouse is at the end of a gravel road in the Tuscan hills, the perfect setting for complete relaxation. Hosts were very kind - including fresh fruit when we arrived and winery recommendations. Less than a hour to Florence, so visiting there was easy as well.

True immersion in Tuscany
Charming hosts, Monica & Stephano were very helpful in giving us a true Tuscan experience. Very tranquil and relaxing. A short train ride into Fierenza and an easy day trip to the Mediterranean or the mountains. Definitely need a rental car. If you like to cook, as we do, grilled steak and veggies over the open hearth in the kitchen was a Tuscan immersion! Ancient farmhouse beautifully renovated by a sensitive restoration architect and a painter whose delightful work graces some rooms. Rosemary and flowers everywhere! The trellis and wisteria draped loggia is a perfect spot for lunch overlooking the Tuscan hills. Get plenty of wine!

La campagne toscane à son meilleur
Un endroit fabuleux pour qui aime la campagne toscane. Les hôtes sont charmants, accueillants et discrets. Ils ont eu à notre endroit de délicates attentions à notre arrivée (fleurs, fruits, produits de base etc…Évidemment ça prend une voiture pour sillonner les environs. À Barberino on trouve tout, épicerie, pharmacie, resto, essence…..
Nous avons choisi le mois d’octobre pour éviter les chaleurs extrêmes qui se prolongent jusqu’au début octobre.
Vous allez apprécier vivre dans une vraie maison qui a déjà été habitée par les propriétaires. On y trouve tout et en abondance.
Il y a climatisation et chauffage. Nous avons apprécié le stationnement privé.
Stefano et Monica sauront vous faire aimer la Toscane. Nous recommandons l’endroit sans réserve. Profitez de cet endroit unique.

harmonic place
A tastfully made countryhouse, a harmonic place with friendly lessors who gave us good tips for ventures with pleasure. For2 weeks we really felt at home there and enjoyed the swimming in the lake nearby.

Beautiful holiday house in a very nice environment
We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful holiday house. It exceeded our expectations on all aspects. A very nice and authentic farm house, equipped with everything one would need. Fantastic surroundings, a nice garden with many possibilities so sit outside. The house is easy to reach. And not to forget a very nice contact with the friendly owners, who kindly supported us with anything we needed. Highly recommended!!

Tranquility and the singing of birds
We had a good time at Casa di Pozzo. We were surrounded by peace and the singing of birds.
The house is very well equipped. Kitchen utensils were plentiful and in very good condition.
We are happy to go back there again.
