The „gym“ is the biggest scam/joke. You literally have two treadmills in there that’s it. The rooms are build weirdly, bathroom was very nice, the beds were moving around with the smallest movement on it. The pool is dirty. Scan for this price and never 4 star, more like 2. The staff is the opposite, super nice and always willing to help. Safe yourself money and don’t go here.

Very clean and bright, uninspiring breakfast which we skipped so we could enjoy the local restaurants which were amazing. The staff were friendly enough but often busy, some being more attentive than others, while others being very kind and helpful. Overall really nice but basic hotel. The pool and amenities are disappointing. AC worked really well. Come here for a quiet night's sleep but a little pricey and generic overall.

Great location and friendly/helpful staff
The accommodations were clean and spacious. The location was excellent for exploring the city by foot. We enjoy walking so we didn't mind the 15-20 minute walk to the downtown hub of Barcelona. We had issues with the air conditioning unit in both rooms they set us up in - there was a loud humming noise which lasted about 10 seconds every time unit started cooling the room. The "pump" turned on every 45-60 seconds so this was very disruptive to our sleep all night. This went on all night every night and kept waking us up. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable but the units in both rooms behaved the same. I would book the hotel again, if they could fix the air conditioning issue. Staff was GREAT! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was attracted by the good location and price . However, I found it impossible to sleep due to a noisy air-con unit outside my bedroom window. Despite having the air-con off in my room, the machine came on and off for several minutes at a. time - repeating throughout the night. During the night I requested another room - but was told the hotel was full. My first night I had zero sleep. I complained again in the morning and was told I would be moved to a new room the next day. On my second night I could hear conversations through both walls. In addition to the noisy air con unit and walls without adequate sound proofing - between 1am-3am it sounded like a laundry room with a washing machine was above my bathroom. The sound of water gushing through the pipes, (perhaps, and I don't know), from others using the bathroom throughout the hotel in rooms above - that sound echoed in the ensuite - I've never heard anything like it in a hotel. I've stayed in hostels that were far better. The safe did not work. And it was not secured - you could literarily slide the safe out and carry it away. After two nights with no sleep I informed reception that I would be checking out (6 night reservation). Refunded 4 night I didn’t stay but not 2 nights at the hotel with zero sleep. Terrible experience.

Great location but low on sleep quality
The hotel is at a great central location with the metro station Diagonal and Provence a few minutes away. The staff is helpful, and the breakfast is quite decent with a wide selection of items (if you are early enough). If you are late to the breakfast (anytime after 9) things seem to run out but I guess that is understandable. The major problem we had was with sleep quality and cleanliness of the towels. 1. There is absolutely no sound proofing between the rooms, so you hear every single sound your neighbor or someone in the corridor makes. 2. The mattresses and pillows are of very poor quality. So it is very hard to get a decent night's sleep. 3. The "clean" towels that are put in your bathroom smell as if they've been stored alongside dirty laundry in a close box for too long. I am not sure if they are actually clean or is it some storage issue. If you stay here, bring your own towels and your own pillows.
