This hotel is located in the heart of the gothic district with easy access to attractions, shopping and amazing restaurants! Staff are awesome here! The rooms are small but well organized! Bathroom is so spacious though!

The room was very small. We also booked the hotel specifically for the jacuzzi, and we were denied access due to a miss communication from the reception; we were told that the area was restricted due to a private event.

Fantastic location and lovely reception area and roof top bar. Sadly our room had a persistent water leak from shower/bath across the whole bathroom floor. The shower base was so slippery under foot it was scary. One of the three windows would not open ad its handle was broken.

This hotel was amazing! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The roof top bar was beautiful and stays open until midnight for a late night drink. The hotel had an affordable laundry service which was done in one day. The attention to detail (a glass of champagne when you arrive, espresso machine in the room, and chocolates left on the bed at night) is superb! I would stay here again and highly recommend.

The hotel lobby was lovely, our rooms were very nice with an apartment feel. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. However my only complaint after staying on the first floor is that the street outside was very noisy. There is currently construction, but the issue was pedestrian noise.

Room was clean but a bit small. It was noisy due to constant noise from cleaning crew in the morning as I was next to the cleaning closet. A room on 7th floor would have been better even though I had a great view on 8th floor. Staff was very nice.

A fantastic hotel for our holiday
Check in was easy and we were greeted with a choice of a glass of complimentary water or fizz (no contender as far as we were concerned, started our holiday with some bubbles!!!) The room was comfortable with everything we needed. It was my husband's birthday whilst we stayed there and without mentioning anything other than leaving his cards on display we were surprised with a bottle of fizz. This was a lovely touch and shows the class & elegance this hotel has. The terrace bar was good, we enjoyed drinks & bar snacks. All staff were helpful and polite, we would definitely recommend this hotel as it's in the heart of Barcelona making everything accessible.

I arrived early, knowing this hotel had a later check-in time. I was told I had to wait until 3pm for check-in. I walked around for a couple of hours, but low on sleep, I decided to wait in hotel lobby for my room. About 2pm, I hear the front desk checking in a group and giving them keys, even though I was told I had to wait until 3pm. I asked if the desk was checking people in now since the other group was given their keys, and I was told I had to wait 30 more minutes, until 2:30pm. I sat back down; 5 minutes later the manager said my room was ready, before the next 30 minutes expired. The rooms are very cramped, no space for belongings, no desk or dresser to put your things, loud slamming doors, construction blocking most of the street out front. Not the best experience. I stay in hotels 70-90 nights a month. This should have been better. I was treated much nicer at Room Mate Pau around the corner. What a difference in service:

-Location is great rooms were clean -Small rooms -Wifi was not the best/ it would only work with full bars near the bed closest to the door -Noisy (you can hear doors constantly slamming) -Construction outside (roads are blocked off)
