Centrally located to everything I wanted to see and do. Great little restaurants with in walking distance too. Felt safe despite all of the warnings about pick pocketers. Directly across from cathedral Barcelona. In vicinity to La sagrada Familia. Taxi ride available outside of hotel. Very convenient. Barcelona was beautiful!!

Directly across the plaza from the Cathedral of Barcelona! The staff were incredibly nice and the place was clean and well laid out. The room was massive with lots of space and opening windows to look out into the street. They were very helpful in arranging transport to the port and giving suggestions to see.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Colon and can’t wait to go back. We literally didn’t want to leave! Our room had an amazing view of the Cathedral, the beds were comfy, the en-suite was large with a great shower. Loved the coffee machine & the finishing touches. Staff were fantastic, breakfast was immense! We dined in the restaurant on one night and the meal was fabulous. Great location too. The whole experience for us was just perfect.

Fantastic location in the Gothic area, across from a wonderful cathedral. Walk the narrow shopping streets and sip coffee or a glass of wine on the plazas nearby. A very good restaurant in the hotel, and a roof top terrace.

I have stayed here at least five times. It is centrally located in the start of the Gothic Quarter. It is walkable to many things. There’s always lots of activity happening in front of the hotel like antique markets and music. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Hotel Colon offered everything we look for in a property. It has a good location that offers a number of different options in the immediate vicinity. While you always need to take precautions with pickpockets the immediate area felt very safe even when walking at night. The physical environment of the hotel is welcoming and the rooms ample and well maintained. We were there for 4 nights and found it to be a great base from which to explore Barcelona. In addition, the staff was very professional and attentive to our needs and any requests made. I will certainly be staying here again when our trips bring us back to Barcelona. Our sincere thanks to all your wonderful staff, they made us feel welcome and at home.
