Lovely property and grounds. Wonderful friendly polite and helpful staff. Cozy rooms. Well decorated to suit the old georgian style in modern way. I did find it very hot in room but i waa staying on an extremely hot day it was a little uncomfortable howevver the staff did so all they could to help

We attended a wedding and the day was great for the wedding and associated facilities. The staff were all excellent through the whole day. We stayed in the older section of the hotel which was a lovely period building. However, for the cost of a dated and tired looking room, I thought was expensive. The room was clean and tidy but simply required updating and simply a little spsrk to bring it back to life.

Rooms do not have aircon so during the heat of summer the rooms were 27c . Some rooms had fans provided and some didn’t. Even with fans they didn’t cool down the room so were useless.

Dan, the young man at Reception, was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Our room was very nice, quiet and comfortable. All areas of the hotel were very clean and nicely decorated. The food we had at the wedding reception and breakfast, the following day, was beautiful....our compliments to the chef etc. All round, a great stay. Thank you all.

The first day I checked in the young gentleman on reception was very helpful with helping me with my case to carry upstairs in the old side, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. the second night in the new side for the price I paid I am very disappointed. There was a square carpet repair which didn’t look great, the toilet roll holder had come off the wall, there was a broken tile in the bathroom and lastly we stayed right above where you accept deliveries at 06.30 in a morning and this wasn’t great it woke me and my husband up and a few other people who stayed that side.
