We did not have a great stay here. I'll start with the positives: the pool is really nice with large deck and plenty of chairs. The location is pretty good, less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants.
Negatives:
1) Communication with the staff. We were given no check in info and there is no real reception area. Once we got ahold of someone, they met us, walked us to our room and literally said bye and left. No "here's the wifi" or "any questions?" Nothing, just "bye". There was a discrepancy with our room (detail below). I messaged the owner and she wouldn't respond. So we called and she was very rude. We sent her pictures of the listing and she kept saying we need to call Expedia, it was their fault. After about five minutes, she told us there was nothing she could do for us and if we didn't like our room, cancel the booking and find another hotel. Hang up. She would not come to our room to discuss with us. It was unreal how disrespectful and rude she was.
2) Room discrepancy: Our room differed from the pictures and actual description. The listing said 2 queen beds. We got a bedroom with a queen bed and the second bed was a converted couch that was smaller than a full size bed. When I looked back at the listing, they had included pictures of our room, but also pictures of the 2 bedroom rooms -- with two queen beds. The pictures in the listing are incorrect and should be taken down.
