This beautiful apartment is centrally located in the heart of Bedford, only a 20 min drive to downtown Halifax. With brand new appliances, and industrial styling, this guest favourite has charm with modern conveniences. We love this space because it shares a mix of creature comforts to live in, as well as an "Executive" vibe. With the large space and many seating arrangements, any friends visiting will be super comfortable!

The Space:
This home was created from repurposing an old office space and has a very unique feeling to it. We try to encapsulate this feeling with the words "industrial" and "chic".

The most unusual part is that your entrance is next to the eyewear business and the apartment door can be mistaken for the business door. Our simple request to prevent any unwanted visitors is to simply keep the door locked. All of the windows have a durable frosted coating, so your privacy is well protected.

During business hours parking is located right across the street in a public parking lot. In the evening you can park in the back of the building which doubles as a customer lot for the "All about eyewear' business.

The bed is a queen sized Murphy bed and can fold into the wall if needed.
In the evening there is a beautiful sunset.

Open concept dining/kitchen/living area perfect for entertaining friends and spending family time. Beautiful, brand new appliances, and fully stocked with toaster, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher.

Guest Access:
Guests are free to use everything in the home.

The Neighborhood:
Located in a beautiful, historic part of Bedford, overlooking the Bedford Basin. Close to local shops, Izzy's Bagels, and Mudwraps to Manicures if you're looking to have a relaxing spa day. Minutes to the Lion's Den Swimming Pool, Bedford Yacht Club, beautiful parks along the Bedford Basin, public basketball and tennis courts. Highly recommend a walk along shore drive, one of the most beautiful streets in Nova Scotia.

Getting Around:
Main bus route just outside the front door, parking is included. Extremely walkable neighbourhood. Bayers Lake, Downtown Halifax and Downtown Dartmouth, and Airport only a 20 minute drive. Bedford is a central hub for those looking to explore all Nova Scotia has to offer.

Other Things to Note:
Please keep the door locked at all times to prevent accidental visitors from the business next door.

In Halifax, parking availability is limited. To efficiently manage the small number of parking spots available and enhance our guests' experience, we've collaborated with the parking operator, 'Honk.' Guests can conveniently select their desired parking duration and make payments by scanning the QR code displayed on the parking sign or with the provided link. Please make sure to register your vehicle to prevent any potential tickets from parking enforcers.
- The guest can arrive any time and purchase the nightly rate for $10, valid until 11:00 am.
- The guest will be notified before 11:00 am to extend parking.

Negative points: 1.The description should be more clear and let the client know better the property was a store converted in a unit. 2.The commercial door which open to the outside, gives the impression of being unsafe. 3.The mirror next to the bed is creepy as it is noticeable there is a door behind it. The door should be locked using a different solution. 4.Despite the high height of the ceiling, it’s possible to hear a lot of noise coming from the unit on the first floor. The person who lives over the unit is extremely noisy, including after hours. We slept poorly both nights we spent there. Positive points: Clean. There is a lot of space. The kitchen is really good and complete. Furniture and decoration is fine.
